Currently on my bang-book priority list:-
- Varric
- Iron Bull
- Sera (maybe, I might make a male character for her)
But I would bang all of the confirmed LIs once the game is out anyhow. See this for reference.

Does it really matter that much which characters are going to be straight/bi/gay?
I mean if people are going to be doing multiple playthroughs anyway...
Yes. I was able to deduce that much on my own. I was trying to gauge the reasons why people don't want to even try it out when they are planning on multiple playthroughs anyway, "Just because" kinda feels like a dismissal of the question.
Ah, hell nah. I'm not getting stuck with another elf.
Well I don't want him so he's all yours. *cackles*
I will compromise with
Straight: Cullen
bi: IB, Solas
gay: Dorian
But hell to the no with all the decent guys being available to m/m while I get skinny Nicolas Cage looking elf. Nope. Hell no.

Kinda related, but not really... I would rather have 2 bi female companions than a bi companion and en exclusive lesbian NPC. Maybe I'm weird. I don't care if my LI can romance male Inquisitors as long as I have choices.
Well, presumably the others will come soonish. I realize there are a thousand reasons for RL people to act differently, but it bugs me when devs write content that implies romantic interest in only one gender and then say "bisexual." Because then I want to know why Cullen wasn't flustered by m!Amell when the characters are identical and the culture doesn't judge sexuality.
I'd probably say it's because things can be retconned due to fan demand. They can always say that (Insert character here) was struggling to come to his/her sexuality before and thus didn't engage in flirtacious behaviour with a PC of a certain gender/was always bisexual, we just didn't show it before.
Ah, hell nah. I'm not getting stuck with another elf.
Lmao
Let's do my 2/4/2 and fit in.
Straight: Cullen, Vivienne
Bisexual: Cassandra, Iron Bull, Sera, Dorian
Gay: Blackwell/Solas, Scribbles
I'm like 80% sure Varric won't be romancable, but at the same time, I really want him to be, but I'm not going to get my hopes up because I've been heartbroken before.

If all three of them are available then this is exactly what my list will look like. Varric with my fem!Dwarf rogue. Iron Bull with my -gender to be determined- Qunari mage. And Sera with my -gender to be determined-Elven warrior.

I also doubt it, but given the fact that you can play as a dwarf, I reckon that makes it a wee bit more likely of a possibility.
Lmao
Do *you* want another one?
Well, how about this?
Straight: Varric
Bi: Cullen, Iron Bull
Gay: Dorian
I guess there would be some disappointed ladies who wanted Dorian (and disappointed everyone who wanted Ser Bara) but since people seem to be playing hot potato with Solas ...
Oh, and for the ladies:
Straight: Vivienne
Bi: Cassandra, Scribbles
Gay: Sera
This is completely arbitrary, since we have even less idea of the preferences of the women than we do of the preferences of the men. But it would give everyone at least two companions to choose from.

How about we nix Solas altogether and make Blackwall bi? That'd be even better!
Personally, I don't give a flying flip about who's bi/gay/lesbian/straight, as long as my dwarfette can bang them.
*insert slightly NSFW air humping Lady Gaga gif here*
Gay: Blackwell/Solas, Scribbles
I sincerely hope not, I really want Solas to be Bi, that way he's at least available for straight people and gay people.
How about we nix Solas altogether and make Blackwall bi? That'd be even better!
That'd be worse. Blackwall is a dead man walking. I've had my fill of romances with dead men walking.

Or, you know, a bisexual person can prefer one gender over another. If Chris Evans was a woman, I doubt I'd be interested in the same way. Maybe m!Amell just wasn't that hot to Cullen. Maybe m!Amell didn't like Cullen's Templar smell. Just because an option to flirt isn't given to m!Amell doesn't make Cullen straight.

People are playing hot potato with Solas because he's the male elf companion and they don't want the traditional tragic male elf and blond pretty boy male LI duo we've had for the past two games. He's actually got his own fanbase already, and I suspect that number will only grow when the game is released (I've got a sneaking suspicion he'll be one of you're nerdier companions, and those have a tendency to be popular).
Some of eat it up. It'd be Kaidan and Thane in one delicios package. That'd be worse. Blackwall is a dead man walking. I've had my fill of romances with dead men walking.

Maybe I am just stupidly optimistic but Garrus and Anders were brought back, then they turn out to be LIs. Just sayin'.

....you are dead to me.

I never said/implied he was. What's with all the passive aggression?

Lol at all of the disagreement ITT. As much as some people complained, it really would have been easier if Bioware had made all of the LI's bi again.
Or maybe Cullen was going to hit on both male and female characters, but that was removed because it would make people 'uncomfortable.'
Perhaps, that is also an option.
