Debbie Downer isn't old. It's a SNL sketch from like 10 years ago.
I mean, I know that I seem old to a whippersnapper like you, though.
You're like...40, bro. Lol, that's practically ancient!

Who didn't in that series?
Well some got stomped on or punted into the air while still on their horse.
Who didn't in that series?
Quite a few people didn't, actually. My username being one of them.
I'm not a betting man, but even I would go all in on the "Cullen won't be gay" bet. He might be bisexual, but I just can't imagine that he will be gay. I think you are safe.
From the beginning, I've been planning my Inquisitors with the mindset that Cullen and Solas would be my options... which is still looking good.
I have to say though, after seeing Dorian in motion in today's demo... DAMN. I am green with envy. ![]()

given up on Hanako?

I hate you sometimes. And I'm only halfway through my 30's, thank you very much!
Post it,I like theories!
I already posted this at least a month back, and there were debates about it. But here I am opening this can of worms again. I edited some of the info (such as names) but it's otherwise the same.
If Cassandra is straight, I will cry. But I have a feeling she will be ![]()

Love you too, dude. ![]()

I seriously do not want to romance anyone dubbed Scribbles...
The problem I have with the survey romance theory remains this- Cullen and Blackwall are both warriors with Big Potential Issues. Cullen has his lyrium thing, and is a very divisive character, while Blackwall is a Grey Warden who is reaching an age when Grey Wardens don't have long to go. I just really hate the idea of straight Femquisitors having only those two to choose from because I feel like female PCs always get saddled with that potentially tragic BS in their romances.

Aargh, ran out of likes.
I like this theory. Esp around Cass. ![]()
Edit: what if they're the straight ones instead. D:

I don't think there's anything "tragic" about Cullen. Yes, he's a bit divisive, but most characters are at some level.
I agree about Blackwell, though. It would stink to have him be a LI and not even make it to the end of the game (or just barely).
The Old Republic had 8 class stories and 3 romances for each class, so 24 romances altogether.
Only certain classes (SW, IA, Smuggler) have 3 romances (the dudes are the ones with two ><). The rest have two (although I guess consular and SW ladies get a romance + companion fling).

Very, very interesting theory. I'm totally not willing to dismiss this yet.

There are 21 romances (11 females and 10 males).
Most of the Solas romance fans here on BSN are female, I believe.
So making him the option for straight females would make the most people happy.
The hell it would.
Looks like you and I are the odd ones out then! More for us! (Which doesn't seem to be a problem for anyone else by the sound of it
)
Nope. Not as a m/f only romance. Hell no. Bi? Fine. But m/f only? No no nooooooooooooooooooooo.

I don't subscribe to the survey romance theory, but I will agree that it would be nice to be able to play as a straight female and look forward to the prospect of a happy ending.
Yeah, if Mark says it, it's confirmed.
Everyone adjust your lists!
Sera's f/f only?
Grats for all that wanted her!
Now can I please get Dorian D:

Maybe the characters in the same row as each Inquisitor are his/her love interests ![]()
Regarding the claim that DA:I has the most number of potential romance options: I'm assuming that either SWTOR was completely forgotten about, or that he meant in the context of a single playthrough. While SWTOR does have lots of potential romance options, you don't even meet most of those characters on any single playthrough. They are exclusively companions for certain classes. Kira for example, only travels with the Jedi Knight.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Like I love that an actual COMPANION is a lesbian and totally only available to females. But I have this thing for Cass and her personality (and her scars if I'm being shallow) also I have a thing for Viv. And while I love Sera and I should be celebrating (and I am) that this is finally happening, I'm also still kinda worried.
Same here. While I am really surprised they actually announced the orientation of one of the LIs, It is also making me worried about Cass. Sera seems cool and we still don't know much about her, but I Cass is so still comes on top for me.

SWTOR doesn't count...I think Allan said something about this in another thread.
But yeah, you could think of each class story as something separate from each other, so the Jedi Knight would have two options total.
Or one...I want to forget about one of them.
