This is a derp question, what happened to his eyes? Do they change if romanced?
He suppresses the Killik hive mind hormones... thing for you so he can spend the night with you alone. It's super woobie.

Not to distract from the SWTOR discussion here on a Dragon age thread, but...
Has anyone considered the possibility that while we can't romance all of the companions, we may be able to romance MOST of them? What if only one or two are off limits? We know Cole is not going to be an option. Varric is probably not an option because he hasn't moved past his old love. But everyone else might just be fair game.
The question, then, is who's into which people.
With Sera confirmed as a lesbian, Solas is likely to be either gay or bisexual. It's unlikely both elves would be exclusive to female players. I'm hoping for bisexual, because I suspect people are gonna get past his bald head once they spend some time with him in-game, and candied super-hot peppers as his descriptive food suggest a very interesting personality.
Iron Bull seems like he will most likely be bisexual and rather promiscuous. I'd say he'll be the Zevran or Isabella of Inquisition. It might be difficult to get him to take romance seriously, maybe he is a much more casual sort of romance. He may also be locked for certain races (i.e. only available to qunari or dwarves, who are both sturdier than humans or elves) or classes (only available for warriors).
Not sure about Blackwall, in truth. There's too little known about him.
Dorian, given his apparent universal appeal, could very well be bisexual.
Cullen and the Scribe Woman are likely bisexual... but who knows?
... I'm really bad at this guessing stuff and I wish BioWare would confirm things one way or another.
Um, there are gay people in Star Wars.
Not true. There are several confirmed gay people in Star Wars (including Juhani - thanks Bioware!). There is a gay guy in SWTOR too, but he's exclusive to Imperial characters, only a fling, and killable (-thanks Bioware.......
).
Oh, I know that.
The people in charge of TOR didn't, though.
I tend to blame the Star Wars people before Bioware for it, but the fact remains it sux. And is also wildly off topic, I suppose.
If Dorian is gay . . . . . . I will cry a river the size of the Mississippi.
Well, they are right. Those terms do not exist in the Star Wars universe. ![]()

Still hoping Cassandra isn't straight. She's the only person I'd even consider romancing at this point.
No, the blame goes squarely to BioWare for that one, just like ME having no options for gay dudes until ME 3 is all BioWare.
This is why the Dragon Age team is the best.
<shrug> Blame who you like, I don't much care.
In other news, I feel a little bad about how DO NOT WANT I am about Solas. But I am. And I keep hoping he's just not an option at all. ![]()
As expected, Sera is not heterosexual
So, my predictions:
Straight - Cassandra, Cullen
Bi - Scribbles/or/Vivienne, IB/or/Blackwall
Gay - Sera, Dorian

I figured she'd be gay. But has there been any word of Cassandra's sexuality?

Nothing.
Maybe they'll be nice and say something later this week.
Sorry, maybe you misunderstood me, ladies always only get one real choice (but with the SW flinging Pierce and the consular flinging Tharan). The classes that get 3 romances, are the ones that have two ladies for dudes to romance (because EYEROLL).
edit: As for getting married, I can only think of one where you can't marry the person (I am ... sort of avoiding spoilers, I guess). Kaliyo'll marry you though.
Oooh kk XD yeah that is pretty BS.
Really? you'd think she'd laugh in the IA's face...
No, there's no s/s romance in SWTOR and it sucks. The best you can hope for are flirt lines (they seem to have decided to make all their new stuff have flirtable people, I flirted with Master Satele's son on both genders for example).
The lack of space lesbians displeases me.
So Laidlaw was only talking about Dragon Age games.
Gonna revise my expectations back to only 6 romances (I still hope for 8, but 6 seems more realistic.)
So
Straight: Cullen, Scribbles
Bi: Cassandra, Iron Bull
Gay: Dorian, Sera
Sadly this leaves no room for Varric. ![]()

It would also sorely disappoint those of us who'd like to romance Solas, but if Iron Bull is a romance and there are six total romances, it is unlikely Solas is on the list.
... Also if you are right, it means that my Inquisitors are all gonna be celibate, 'cause I rarely play males, won't switch that up solely for romance, don't like people as casual about sex as Iron Bull seems to be, and am not into women or Cullen.
I dunno. Maybe Bull isn't a romance- maybe the thing about him getting in bed with anyone was completely unrelated.
Still, I hope he's an option, at least.

You mean we're going to have to watch every other companion take a ride on that bull but not get to do it ourselves?
I'll be more jealous than I get about our companions having piercings that we can't.

And that time Casey Hudson said how Liara/FemShep is not a lesbian relationship. That was fun. ![]()
I'm so glad the DA team has never tried that bullshit. At least, to my knowledge.
Things would be oh so much easier if everyone were bisexual like in DA2. I know that's kind of a goofy way to handle it, but then no one feels 'forced" to play a character they don't like solely to get their preferred LI.
And yet, even if they were all bi, if there are 6 total LIs and those are them (Iron Bull does seem very likely, but Scribbles might not be an option--it might be Vivienne who rounds out the lady LIs), I still wouldn't get the one I prefer.
Here's the thing though: if Solas is NOT an LI, well... if you look past his bald head, he actually has a pretty cute face. He doesn't, in fact, look like Nic Cage or a nosferatu. Just a better-than-average looking guy with pointy ears who shaves his head. Not to mention his skin-tight pants. And yet, if there are six total, he cannot possibly be a love interest. There is not space for him.
The exception is if there are two extra LIs--and I would think it would be another pair of bisexuals--it would be to add another kind of romance. For instance we might have someone sweet and sappy, and then someone else who has a more aggressive, hate-sex-fueled relationship, or someone more casual like Iron Bull. In the interests if equality you'd probably see equivalent romances for male vs. female LIs.
Buuut... I think we're getting six total. No Solas. And that makes me sad.
The question is: who will be the third female LI: Vivienne or Scribbles. I have a feeling that theory about the leaked survey showing LIs was very correct
Which I wouldn't mind but... It would mean no Iron Bull being a LI
Well, Blackwall being an LI would make lots of people happy, but it wouldn't please me. And Solas was not even in that survey, so his chances would be nil.
I actually think the theory was wrong, because it looks like Iron Bull is being hinted as an LI--and in fact one of the devs had sort of danced around that issue in the past, with some vague playful suggestion/humor about it. Blackwall will be a wallflower, like Solas, it seems. And that's sad, too, because even though he's not my cup of tea, lots of people think he's one hot dude.

I knew it
I knew better than to get hyped D: but I did anyway ![]()
