The warden has been gathering armies. Armies with their own generals. Also Alistair flat out says he doesn't think you should've been a warden if you go back to the camp with him at -100 approval so...yeah.

 

Look I'm just saying the warden poking his/her lip out after Alistair poked his/her lip out and said he was leaving if they did X and they did X gets no sympathy from me. Alistair was acting like a child. You either put up with it or kicked him to the side. Acting as though he put the wardens entire gathering of armies up to that point at risk is where you lose me. You end up with the same amount of GWs as you started off with. He gave you a choice. Him or Loghain. You picked the latter.

It was more that he was willing to put down his sword and possibly let his friends (Leliana, Wynne, potentially Og) die because he's upset that the Warden is actually acting like a Grey Warden.

 

Generals that we never meet & are never mentioned, whose quality we are not informed of.

 

Loghain isn't guaranteed to survive.  But I'm done.

To be honest, they're damned if they do damned if they don't. I'm honestly content, although this does bite for some of my friends who won't be able to romance who they wanted.

I'm reading this as they are trying to do a 2/2/2 situation. In one sense, it sucks that some people will not be able to romance necessarily who they want, but at the same time, it is a great opportunity for them to talk about sexuality, which I am so happy for. I would be beyond happy to just to get a fully gay companion who expressed his desire in men, or a woman companion who does the same towards other women.

Who says it's the only limiting factor? We've not said how the romances will work at all, so that's quite the assumption.

 

I understand the concern about possibly ending up with the "short end of the stick", but I'm not sure where the DA team has yet given the impression that will be so. I'm not going to tell you that your concerns don't have validity—I'm actually quite familiar with how it feels to have my interests treated as a secondary concern when it comes to popular entertainment—but I'm hoping that concern need not equate with panic at this point. We've got a lot of time yet to discuss this.

 

Personally, I'd rather the conversation didn't start with a discussion of what is "realistic". That's not a bar the DA team uses to judge any of our content—not in a fantasy game. There's an argument that can be made about internal plausibility within the setting, but the realism that Cam was trying to talk about in that interview was with regards to character depictions and the variety of viewpoints that can be touched on depending on the approach. I hope that's clear. If not, it's something we'll certainly be discussing more in the months to come.

That's what I'm betting on: Cullen/Scribbles - Bisexual, Cassandra/Dorian - Homosexual, Solas/Sera - Heterosexual

 

That's about as even as you can get it. The only one I'm not confident on is Solas, because he's in there to the the non-human male LI slot. Varric or the Iron Bull could easily fit.
