Funny thing is, my favorite character of his is Shale. Probably the most smartassy
I remember reading sometime back that DG considered his "author avatar" of the series to be Shale. Take that as you will. ![]()

I haven't read the books so I'm left wondering what Shale is up to now. Running around as a dwarf killing birds? Wearing large amounts of jewlery to replace her old crystals? Smashing more birds?
Oh gods...okay, without giving anything too big away, she was with Wynne in the beginning of Asunder and plays a part in the climax of the book. And she is still a golem as of the end. As a Shale fan, it's worth reading for a few short but memorable moments. The book is excellent in general, but I wanted to mention the little moments for Shale fans. ![]()

Anyways.. Glad you guys heard me out. I didn't want to dog Mr. Gaider too much, but it sounds nasty now that I read it again. It was just a concern.

All good, you were polite about it. It's only when folks become mouth foaming jackasses over it that posters get angry.
So yeah, just think of DG as being much like a real life Shale when you see his posts. That helps me. ![]()
I actually wanted to avoid Cass, because honestly.
and i am too but i wanted not just avoid but to kill Cassandra, Cullen, Cole, Leliana(what must be dead from origins)
i would like to send away Varrick what i tired off and especially Vivienne because she is not a mage for what i fighted in DAO and DA2 and will do in Inquisition..she is not like Fionna or Anders or Meriil or Vellanna...i fighted against Chantry Circle, Templars and Orlais Empire
Iron Bull dissapoint me because he is not a Tal-Vashot who fight with Qunari but a another Qunari like Sten and Tallis what i never like and wanted to kill her and give salit papers to Thedas Kingdoms like i am done with Tome of Coslun what was send to Tevinter Imperium...i do not let Bull to give Qunari any info and if he will not became Tal Vashot and stays in Qun i will kill him
i do not like that we forced to romance Orlais/Chantry/Templars people

So, to make sure I'm understanding this correctly...Sera, Dorian, Blackwall and Scribbles are on your not kill list? Well, I guess you can still make a party out of that, but it seems like it'll be a pretty dull game session.
Call it a hunch, but I take it you really don't plan to play any romances either.
Hey guys, I see this is the romance thread!
Here's my list of people I want to kill.
Well, someone is getting penetrated one way or the other I guess.

Sera, Dorian, Blackwall and Scribbles
Behold, the Inquisition?

you forget Solas and Iron Bull(before he will not turn against me and stays in Qun) and its not a dull to kill your enemys
i do not have it anymore Sera-the only non-human female is a lesbian now, so what i left ![]()
my dwarf Inquisitor have nothing, my Kossith Inquisitor have nothing, and my elven Inquisitor have nothing

If you mean as far as romances go, then I can understand your opinion. However, if you're talking about running off/not using in your party Sera just because she's gay, well that's a different story.

I don't want to kill anyone just yet.
Besides, I probably have to learn my Specs from some of them. ![]()

i support elf/dalish rebellion against Orlais Empire so why i would not use Sera and be friend with her...i am dissapoint that some smart guy do not give nonhumans inquisitors any nonhumans females but i will not "hate" Sera just because she is not available romance...this is like with Velanna and Sigrun and Dagna

I think it's a language failure. You had just said:

Right after I had just mentioned you talking about killing off/running off characters. That was where my confusion comes from. I know English isn't your first language, but I think I'm getting the gist now.
Also, Sera's accent sounded distinctly British, not French, so I'm not sure what she'll have to do with the rebellion in Orlais. Other than she's an elf, and one from some as-of-yet unnamed city or country.

To be fair, I think there is a "slight" Status quo makeup to the group. Plus, the Inquisition itself has Andrastian history. I think it's a change of pace actually. But I'm curious how they're going to handle players who want nothing to do with any of it.

it was answer for this

I got your meaning. ![]()
Okay, some of this is starting to get a little off topic.
It does make me wonder if the background of some of the companions might make them more or less expressive about their sexual orientation. For instance, is Vivienne going to be the kind of gal that keeps all personal information very close to her chest? It strikes me that she would, since knowing her lover could give them the power to blackmail her and use it against her in The Game. Or is Iron Bull possibly going to be more expressive because of the Qun and his growing questions about it?
Thoughts?

I didn't want to ignore the post, but I don't know how to answer all of it really. I think it'd be fun to not really know anything about Viv beforehand.. it'd be cool if I simply "snagged" her in dialogue and got to know more that way.

That's why I'm speculating based upon where some of the companions have been before. It's a fun topic and it beats another round of bickering. ![]()

They could definitely improve the Orlesian "Game" element at least. It hasn't quite been presented well so far. Leliana didn't keep things too close to herself. You just had to make friends. And the party in MotA was just good fun. Not challenging per se.
Why is there always someone who manages to mention in every thread, no matter the topic, who they want to kill and why? Honestly, some people here scare me...

Because murder is a type of romance, right?
(Don't worry, they scare me too)
