Gaider hates fans making any assumptions about the game other than that it will be good. As far as he's concerned, we're wrong to assume that the game will include dragons. 

 

Truth.  I remember once he got a bit snippy with me when the jury was still out on Iron Bull's role and I said that it was obvious to me that he would be a companion.  I'm still a bit confused as to why I was singled out and chastised, especially since I was right.

 

But whatever.  I still love Gaider.

Referring back to the "Will NPCs follow you around", check the trailer at 1:03. One of the people heading toward the Inquisitor is unmistakably Leliana.

Alright.  I think I'm finally ready to make a wild baseless guess about the LIs and their orientations.

 

Cullen - straight

Solas - bi

Mr Mustache - gay

 

Cassandra - bi

Sera - straight

Scribe Girl - lesbian

 

And I think if any of them are struggling with their sexuality, it's probably Cass.

I think if there's someone struggling with his sexuality, it's Cullen. I think he'll be available for both men and women, because I guess the NPC's will be bisexual. But since Cullen was desribed as straight in previous games, it will take some effort for males to persuade him. So if you play as a male, he'll finally become bisexual I think.

I don't really understand why Cullen or Cassandra would struggle with their sexuality, though. The Chantry is fine with same sex relationships. The Divine, herself, is at least bisexual. Leliana is bisexual.

But I think they wouldn't change Cullen's orientation due to the fact that he was straight in DAO and DA2.

Maybe but you have to know it differs from person to person.

Or maybe Cass never thought about being with a woman and tries to understand if her feelings are romantic or platonic... it can happen, doesn't matter what you beliefs are.

Yes, but not every straight person can accept the fact to be suddenly attracted by the same gender, if they only loved the other gender in the past. There are many people in reality who have this issue.

Exactly. "Closets" don't exist in Thedas because it's always been accepted unlike RL. That's why I'm skeptical about the idea that Cullen was bi all along and he just flirted with the female mage because he was struggling with his sexuality.

Yeah, but if they're suggesting this sort of subplot anyway...  I love Cass, but she is kinda uptight.  I can see her being in denial very easily about something like that.

Well, I was just listing others heavily tied to the Chantry, specifically. 

 

I could see Cullen possibly being bi. He was attracted to a woman, but that doesn't exclude the possibility of him being attracted to a man. It's basically the Anders argument all over again. I just don't really see a big deal being made about it, if he is.

Well, she might be resistant to relationships, but I think it would be all relationships. The hint people are talking about was supposedly that they would be questioning their sexual orientation.

The thing about Cullen is that all we know is that he was attracted to one woman and he wasn't attracted to one man. Maybe he's straight, but making him bi isn't a huge stretch. Not being attracted to one man doesn't mean he can't ever be attracted to any men. If he is attracted to a man this time, it doesn't mean he's attracted to every man. There's plenty of wiggle room. I mean, you might as well say he became asexual in DA2 because he wasn't attracted to male or female Hawke.  

 

I just don't see it being a big deal, if he is bi, because it's not a big deal inside of the Chantry and it's not culturally a big deal in Ferelden, where he's from.

I think it's because someone posted about Gaider possibly writing someone who struggles with sexuality. It could be a npc or companion.

I just posted how i would love if it was Cass the one.

Or maybe we're all wrong and this isn't the case.
