LUCINA!!!! Hells yeah!

I like how the FE haters are losing their stuff saying Lucina is a waste of space and a clone of Marth(basing it off ONE MOVE we saw) and she should be replaced by Ganondorf,Falco or Lucas. The irony.

Also it looks like they are using Michelle Ruff for female Robins va(one of the va options you could pick for her in FE:A)

Lololol really? Screw those guys, this is awesome! I was a bit scared Nintendo wouldn't include Awakening characters when they announced Marth again but I'm glad they got the new Fire Emblem blood in. It makes so much sense.

 

They really seem to want to build Marth up as some kind of legendary warrior, which is ironic since he is god awful in his original games.

 

Although I'm still not entirely certain why Ike is there. I wouldn't complain if they cycled out Fire Emblem characters considering how many good choices the series has at this point.

Personally I wish they would drop Marth and Ike. There are way better FE characters in the past games then those two jokes not to mention in terms of lore Chrom and Lucina(if Robin is Chroms wife then Morgan too and Lucina is even more powerful) overshadows Marth anyways now , and then you have Awakening cast which has ALOT of good characters, least Chrom is Robins final smash though.

 

I'm still upset Nintendo ignored the Metroid series again but at least FE is getting love with Awakening characters, a stage for the 3DS version and most likely tracks from Awakening. Making Robins gender pickable is also extremely nice.

Since I had Chrom married to Robin. It's awesome that their attacks are together. Regardless, I will always use female Robin since male Robin doesn't exist in my reality.

I have two pts for each gender(Chrom/Female Robin and Sumia/Male Robin) I've played my female the most though, OP Lucina and Morgan FTW

Did they say how big the cast was for this game?

I beleive it will be around Brawls roster, maybe more. The one thing that this one is doing is less clones(so far the only clone is toon Link) and more balanced and less floaty and slow like Brawl.

Which I'm fine with really since her fighting style is pretty much his(explained in FE:A) combined with her fathers.

And apparently Corocoro will be revealing the entire roster and all 3DS stages on August 12th.

 

I'm a bit sceptical about them revealing any remaining unlockable characters, but whatever. We'll see.

Have you guys even seen his trailer? Also I can't wait for Mii Brawlers, I love characters who focus purely on melee moves ^-^

Yeah I don't really get the Pac-Man addition. I've never seen the dude do more than chomp things so I'm wondering how compelling a character he could be without it feeling ridiculous.

Like Brawl with the third party character gimmick, this game seems to want to have the mascot gimmick(Sega=Sonic, Nintendo=Mario, Megaman=Capcom and Pac-Man=Namco

 

I personally don't care for it though, I much rather have more Metroid characters then some mascot gimmick.

I personally would remove Sonic, Megaman and Pac-Man, replace them with two Metroid reps and Ghirahim, replace Marth and Ike with two other FE characters and replace Lucario with Mewtwo.

Marth will probably never be replaced. Ike will be replaced after the next release of a FE game on an home console.

Metroid doesn't really have any well known representative characters apart from Samus that could work in Smash. Don't say Ridley, that wouldn't work at all. He's too big, for starters, and his overall shape/body would just make him really akward. And I'm absolutely 100% sure that nobody wants to see Adam in smash. All the other Metroid character I can think of and just too obscure and/or unimportant to be made into smash fighters.
