I think she's the only Vanguard I play with any frequency that I take bonus power on Biotic Charge.. Also take Bonus Power on Stasis.. Getting 2 or 3 bonus powers in a row is pretty freakin' sweet. Used to use Talon or Acolyte, mostly for power mod, but lately I've been using Wraith or Venom. The double bonus power definitely allows you to get away with heavier weapons, like the Venom.
So that Asari Vanguard...

Pull>Decoy
You've clearly never dropped a Decoy in front, behind or next to a Prime. They lick 'em like candy.
L2Decoy. Heh.

Thanks everyone! After trying several of the builds posted, I've settled for the double BP + Talon combo :]
Kit is a ton of fun, even though I'm not too big on vanguards in general. I call her the team player.
And shock decoy is great hello???

Put a shotgun and Grenade Gear V on her
???
Profit
You don't want to skip Stasis. It does have it's uses. I don't use it that often though.

I hate the Asari Vanguard. Not because she's a bad character. Far from it. It's because I've played probably over 1000 games with my mate Jay and I would bet my life that 800 of those he used the Asari Vanguard/Cerberus Harrier X. He farms kills during objectives, camps on ammo crates, burns 6 Thermal Clip Packs per game, Lift Grenade spams spawns and rapes everything in sight with his Harrier. I know it's not her fault but every time I see her I wanna smack the b*tch.
So he's a typical Harrier user, then.

I'm a big fan of the drone, but vs Geth the decoy is much more effective at drawing aggro. I was quite surprised at this last month when I started playing the salengineer again. (volus says 'why not both?" ...
... "shut up volus, this is an assguard discussion.")

skip Stasis and use a Claymore on her.
ftfy
although, the drell is much better suited for the Claymore thanks to his superior weight allowance.

Try this build if you want a more aggressive hybrid build. Its allows you to stasis snipe but be an aggro kit if you choose.
If you want to Stasis Snipe use this build You should be able to kill all mooks caught in a stasis bubble with one headshot. This was my 1st build with her and it wrecks Cerberus.
Use this build if you want a grenadier kit. pretty much a DV but with a few points in stasis.
I use this build, as i am extremely comfortable with her. I would not recommend this build.
I prefer the AV over the DV as she has way more playstyles and isn't completely dependent on grenades to do well. I find Stasis to be incredibly helpful and should not be skipped otherwise why play the AV if you want to only lob grenades? She can also make her own BEs with Stasis > Grenage or Stasis > BC which is rare among VGs.
The best playstyle combos I find with her are: Stasis > BC > Grenade, Stasis > Shoot > BC/Grenade, or BC >Shoot/Grenade.
I did this with a Widow Stasis Snipe AV

It's an easy-mode character.

This is a kit I've almost never used, but one that I'd really like to spend more time with. I'm at a complete loss on how I should build her though, so what better to do than ask all of you how you like to play her?
I'd rather not skip Stasis, because otherwise I just feel like I'm playing a meh version of the Drellgod. And I loathe those puggers who skip charge and equip a sniper.
Builds pls & thank u.
Stasis for the ability to create your own BE, spec it to 4 for extra damage.
BC with radius, power damage, and bonus power. (7x charges in a row)
Lift Grenades, all damage
Fitness at 4 for health/shields
Passive at 5 for all power damage/weight
Talon is excellent. As is Scimitar with Warp IV.
Charge spawns, drop a grenade, spam charge on survivors. Stasis problem units like phantoms, centurion, geth. Pretty simple yet effective. Unload Scimitar clips after BCing. It's a stronger gun than many people like to believe.

While I like and endorse stasis I don't think it is a must have power on her. She already has something for everything especially phantoms.
The with Stasis is that it is almost fool proof for killing any target that is stasis'd either by you or by a team mate. Not only that you are able to control mutiple enemies almost at the same time. I'm fighting an atlas and some mooks and see an engineer out of the corner of my eye starting to set up a turret? Stasis, an annoying rocket trooper using cover on the other side of the map? Stasis. Multiple targets in a choke point? Stasis bubble. When looking at kill feeds a good part of the time you go down not because of the banshee what warp balled you but because you are warp balled and a marauder shoots you. Collector captains, stasis.
It's utility is just phenomenal as far as controlling multiple enemy units and it's a great get out of trouble power.

Agree 100%.
I think it's only worth 4 points, but I wouldn't skip it.

4? Is 2 extra seconds of stasis worth losing rank 5 in something else?

So instead you do this. Stasis the phantom coming up behind the dragoon. Charge the dragoon and kill it and then kill the phantom as you sip your tea. Or you could skip stasis and have a dragoon coming at you with the phantom ready to gut you as you get staggered and now you have a real decision to make.

Yeah for me stasis is either 3 ranks or maxed for the bubble.

If you are off-cooldown such that you can stasis, you could alternatively simply Charge, throw a Lift Grenade, and shoot whatever still has HP.

Agree 100%.
I think it's only worth 4 points, but I wouldn't skip it.
Going bubble though in my opinion is better than the extra few points of fitness or passives.
Bubble traps multiple enemies.
Bubble sets up nicer biotic explosion possibility from your nades.
Bubble gives you a margin of error in lag games.
Bubble makes shield guardians drop their shields.
Bubble is good at creating choke points.
Now if you only use stasis in a medium as needed basis I can see going 3 or 4 but It is such a handy all around group power that often benefits more than just the caster. (Except that of course you can ****** of melee characters by spamming it like I do.
)
