I would like to point out that the Inquisitor is wearing gauntlets...

Even if they weren't wearing gauntlets, you could headcanon an Inquisitor with man hands.

Getting a Dark Souls feel with the armored protagonist and all the demons...But still, looks awesome! can't wait!

 

It's definitely got a similar dark fantasy feel, which I think is awesome.

 

I think it's cool that they stepped away from the red dragon on white background thing, but at the same time I'd like to see a version like that too.

Incredibly looking cover! Very dynamic and dramatic. You can almost see the impact between Inquisitor, dragon and demons happen while the sea is raging all around them. Lots of little details to explore as well. And whilte it is a shame that the blood dragon motif is lost, the colour mixing in this one is beautiful and really sets the tone for the game.

 

All in all, a job very well done BioWare! Congratulations

I just have to say, good work on this. The waist narrows enough that it could be a female and the line of the left arm hides any possible hip curve. Bent angle of the right arm keeps you from being able to tell if their forearms are slender. The sash and quilted tunic hides the booty. The Inquisitor has a muscular back that can go either way and the helm has the suggestion of longer hair with the flair at the bottom of it. One foot is kinda pointed and slightly FF Lightning-esque while the other is planted firmly so you can take it either way.

 

Well done.

 

In fact... the more I look at it, I could talk myself into it being a dwarf, elf, or hornless qunari (which was confirmed in a Sprint Review day, I think?)

I think we're all a little too used to seeing female body models that draw armor 'within' the frame of the body outline instead of on top of it.

I miss the blood dragon motif, and honestly I like the red negative better because of that, I think it is still much better than most game covers today. Loving the ambiguity of the Inquisitor.

I wish they had used a Rogue as the cover class this time, but a BFFS is better for catching the attention of the easily distracted CoD audience, I guess...

The red negative is quite breathtaking. Good attention-grabber for people browsing for games at stores, I think.

This one's pretty good, but I still prefer the simpler red and white colors in the DA:O cover art.

I like the ambiguous protagonist, as opposed to the ME covers. Every time I looked at those, I couldn't help but think "Who's that guy? None of my Shepards look like that."

I've never understood the negative reputation of this place, I mean sure there's a few outliers, but most of the users here are sane

I think the reputation comes from a small minority of nasty yet vocal individuals, particularly in threads that discuss women, minorities, those sorts of topics. Allan's already had to clean up this thread, for instance.  But yeah I agree we are mostly pretty awesome. I love this place.
