Very clever and very striking.  I'd say it's more eye catching than people are giving it credit for.  If you stand from a distance, the white dragon stands out a bit.

I saw a low res version on another site but looking at it in detail is quite striking.

 

I will also admit that when I first saw the Inquisitor I couldn't quite tell if he/she was male or female which is a rather nice touch since it doesn't fall into the typical body size stereotyping.

Well I think it's great. A very beautiful and dramatic picture that focuses the audiences attention on the central conflict of the game. I really appreciate the gender neutrality of the protagonist and the obscured facial features. This image makes me actively imagine who the protagonist is and so in a sense I am already participating in the story. Completely awesome!
