With DA:I being the first game in the series to feature playable a playable qunari, many people are excited and curious. What do you guys hope to see out of the new race and what are you most curious about?

Here are some of my personal questions:

qunari2.jpg

1.) How large will a Male Qunari be in relation to this beast? (doubt he will be this big, although i wouldnt mind)

Spoiler

2.)In these two screenshots we see the qunari facial structures somewhat differing, will there be shared facial feature between qunari similar to the noses of DA2's elves or will the CC this time around allow us to go all out.

Spoiler

3.)Ive made a separate thread on this but oh well, how would you like the females of this race to be portrayed (athletic, bulky, etc)

4.)With each race having a spec that originated from them(ArcaneW-Elves, Berserker-Dwarves, Templar-Human), will we be seeing a qunari specific spec or at least some unique ability?

5.)Will we be able to deal with Qun following qunari, maybe forming some sort of a deal with our position as inquisitor?

Edit: How could i forget HORNS, how many will we be able to choose from and can i have the arishoks majestic horns?

tumblr_lsutzshmUw1r0o08k.gif<-(hopefully thats not the answer)

Some of these ill most likely have answered only when i get my hands on the game but we'll see

I'm extremely curious about mage qunaris. I hope that qunaris won't be restricted only to warriors or rogues, I want my inquisitor to be a male Saarebas (mage) so badly.

I want a playthrough as a Qunari Inquisitor to feel significantly different from one as a human. That's the main thing, for me. People's reactions to you, maybe different quests, that sort of thing.

As for the female Qunari look - I just don't want them to look like something from the cover of World of Warcraft for little boys to gawk at.

I find it necessary that no matter what event is going on, no matter what anyone is saying, even if the qunari is not being talked to, I always want the option to say "No." and walk away. That is my only wish.

Its been confirmed that we can be a qunari mage but not a saraabas:/

You're not alone, with the missing rogue if we're going by the 3/3/3 ratio and the lack of one being found in concept art, im hoping they've hidden away a female qunari. It would make sense considering females are only used as assassins when it comes to combat

I'm hoping that the Mage qunari background is Saarebas.

Thats what i said but apparently its not a popular opinion. The Iron Bull looks exactly like what i want to see in my character but the 3 examples we were given showing off the face paint seemed too human to me

No, but the Qunari PC models do.

I'm rather curious about how the female qunari is going to look. As they've shown a few concept pictures of the males we have a rough idea for them. Personally I'd like a female Qunari to look like she could break a human in half if she was provoked. For both the male and female I'm rather curious if we'll get to choose their horn styles or decorations.

Now as for my hopes for the female. I hope that we can make her look outright frightening. I want her to look like the type of person whose eyes many would be scared to look at and would give small children nightmares. I just get a kick out of making a horribly frightening character that's as sweet as can be. I loved my dark elf with fiery red eyes in Kingdoms of Amaluer or however it's spelt.

I think this is partly born from the notion that it's a lot easier to protect people when you're frightening. They fear you so they take your warnings seriously. So it's easier to keep people away from the edge of the cliff or that dark cave over there. I may be mistaken but I also believe that people are less likely to mess with your stuff and those you value if you're terrifying.

It will not be. Our Qunari will not be of the Qun. And if I recall correctly, they will never have been part of it either.

I'm just scared that female qunari will be slightly larger human females with horns. I'd like for them to be very muscular and as unique looking as the males. I also hope that we can have a badass voice to match.

All of the races will have the same four voices (two per gender, one American, one British), so don't count on racial voices. lol

Im assuming the "American" voice will be deeper and more intimidating considering Dwarves and Qunari are the only ones who speak with that accent.

As far as Males go, I think it would be hard to go deeper than the male British VA we have so far. Of course its still up in the air for females.

Why would it be hard?
