Hoping that the female Qunari are taller and bulkier than their counterparts of the other three races. Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping for Wonder Woman over She-Hulk, but like their male brethren, they should be big and intimidating. Humans and Elves are available for people that wish to play thinner, less imposing characters. I've been wanting to play a female Warrior that looks as if she could break someone's neck since Origins, and the Qunari is the perfect opportunity for that. Hopefully they'll be more than just tall, grey humans.

Speaking of the females, of course. I think we can assume that the male Qunari Inquisitor will be built like a tank.

The qunari Inquisitor is Vashoth - outside the Qun - so I'm not sure where you'd get the collar from.

A Kossith mage is still technically a Saarebas, a human one is Bas Saarebas. We can get that collar as a loot drop.

He/she should be a real beef bus. Like, there'd be no mount for them but bronto.

I don't expect the female Qunari to be too bulky, considering it's the males that have been deliberately breed for combat , but I do expect them to be stronger looking than female humans. Basically an Amazonian build would be ideal.

That said their horns, skin and height make them stand out enough for me, so I'm not too fussed if that's the only real difference. After all the only real difference with elves is pointy ears and I'm already okay with that.

I just want the female Qunari to be buff and muscular. Both because I find it visually appealing and because I'd feel cheated if only male Qunari get muscles. I want abs, Bioware. ABS.
They don't have to be insanely bulky or anything, I just want some proper definiton.

Like this, at the very least (preferably with more definition around the stomach area):

Hell, if it was up to me, I'd like something like this even more:

Or this:

olivia-moschetti-1393748432ng8k4-600x900

BUT I am very aware that Bioware won't dare to venture too far from what constitutes as the traditional female beauty standard. I can already hear the b*tching and whining if something like this were to happen.

Honestly, the top is akin to the minimal amount of muscle I'd expect on the female Qunari Inquisitor. The bottom figure would be perfect, however despite having the option to play a human, elf or dwarf, there are people would no doubt complain that the femqunari isn't "sexy" enough, as some did with Cassandra.

At this point though, I'd be happy with them having any degree of toned muscle or a bulkier body. I just don't want them to get the ME3 FemShep treatment. We have elves if we want to play a lithe character.

The thing is, we don't know what our qunari inquisitors used to do before becoming important. Were they warriors, craftsmen or maybe peasants?
One of the reasons why qunari men are so bulky is because they were literally bred to be this way. To be nothing but a perfect canon fodder. It is literally in their blood, in addition to being naturally hulky.
Sure, qunari women are bulkier than women of other species. But they still are not as bulky as they would be if they had been bred in the same way

Selective breeding is all good and well, but would that not extend to the females of the species as well? I mean, I can't imagine it's possible to only breed the males of the species to have bulk and muscle while keeping the females lithe. It's not like males and females are that genetically different, apart from the whole x/x and x/y thing. It's been some time since I had biology in school, however.

(And the only thing I remember is that roosters choose their sex partners after the image of their mother. So if a rooster happens to imprint on something other than a hen and, for example, views a dog as its mother, he's gonna try to breed with that species later, since he believes himself to be the same. Well, that and a few things about recessive genes and splicing. And you may thank me for that unnecessary information later, when you're on a date and awkward silence ensues and all you can think of is 'Hey, did you know that roosters sometimes fall in love with dogs?'.)

Im not a fan of this version of a female qunari, is pretty much a gray human with horns. Id prefer a more intimidating look similar to the males, not skinny women with large breasts like this.

I don't understand your meaning but most females have softer feachers then males  i don't want   a  manish looking female  Qunari  but hey if that is what turns your gear who am i to judge

I wish that my Qunari will have face features equal as the DA2 qunari, not those human with horns in the OP.

I agree except the iron bull looks like he retains those features from DA2

Doesn't need to be manish, i just want a female qunari that isn't made skinny with large boobs in an attempt to make them sexy & less intimidating to some male players.

Not if it's also supposed to be a power fantasy for female players.

Iron Bull almost looks a bit short in the latest trailer. I liked how big quanari were in DA2, looks like they've shrunked for Inquisition. Or maybe it's just Iron Bull being the smalles qunari in Thedas :(

Want to play as big femqunquisitor. (as in tall and muscular)

I think I'm most looking forward to how the Quanari inquisitor will interact with there team.  The dialogue with Sten and the Arishok was always great and can't wait to see how that plays into a Quanari character (come on epic comedy romance dialogue!)

Will they be 9 ft. tall and weigh a focking ton?

But in all seriousness I'd much rather know little things like are there restrictions on character interactions, romances, specializations, and god forbid weapon and armor restrictions. So I guess this applies to every race other than humans, cause you know human favoritism.

Ehhh considering that the tallest person in the room only reaches his shoulders, i think he's pretty damn tall.

Yes. Human females. If you don't want to play what you consider a "manish" looking female, play one of the other three races. The Qunari is a perfect opportunity to allow the player to take control of a stronger, more intimidating female figure.

Nobody is asking for the female qunari to look like male Qunari with breasts. We're asking that they're bigger, taller and more muscular than the females of the other races. I don't think that's too much to ask, is it?

You could breed for sexual dimorphism, I'd think?  I mean, natural selection does it, that's why we've got it in the first place.

Though of course there's also a nurture element.  Most of the Qunari men we've seen are trained as soldiers, while the women wouldn't be.  Saarebas might go against that, but I guess they'd still want them to be fit in order to keep up with the army on the march.
