It's not bad at X but even on the Juggy I prefer the Typhoon. It is fun to start firing at the start of the wave and end the wave with 40 rounds still in the magazine, having never reloaded.
Yep. Put it on the destroyer and turn on the devastator mode. You will be surprised how slowly your character runs despite moving legs fairly fast. I guess that's how the destroyer does his cardio with no tread-mill in the arena.
Don't sugar coat it gents, the Spitfire is garbage. I got a double Spitfire unlock in a PSP the other day and honestly, I would have preferred double warp or incendiary ammo. Ah well, at least I'm 2 URs closer to a maxed manifest.

Not a fan of the Juggernaut or Spitfire, but on a lower difficulty you could probably stand in the middle of London and lay down fire (literally) down the streets for quite a while, and it'd be a short walk to an ammo box when it becomes appropriate.
In my experience with it, it needs top-level mods and consumables to do adequate damage, and even then I'm not completely happy with it, but the cruise-control factor can't be beat. With stability and scope, I've landed a decent number of headshots. Going with the extended mag you can set world records for most shots fired per clip.
I can definitely get headshots with it...

I hated it when I first unlocked it but now I wouldn't play my juggie with anything else. Also as Zjarcal says, it's good on the Trooper.
I don't remember how it was at level I though. I only started playing it when it was around level VI I think.

Edit: OP, I don't know what level you have yours but at X the damage is decent. This was the only gun where I waited until it was maxed to try it out.

Its a fun non-melee way to play the juggy...I used I on gold, didn't die, didn't run out of ammo and didn't melee once.

Platinum viable, and you'll never have to reload, better get a high level one though cuz the weight.
It has a much better damage multiplier in SP, in MP it's simply just that! Nothing interesting.

Geth spitfire is good for making your controller vibrate.

On Platinum it's Warp ammo, not AP
Hurricane secondary is for getting around at normal speed. Just how it works.

Yeah this is the only character I use it on. Mag, Ext Barrel, and AP ammo.
Forget about it entirely until you have it at much higher level.

Once you get level 4 or higher it starts to get much better. I like to go with ext barrel and piercing mod. Then give it cryo rounds.
