It's good on the trooper - better than on Juggy.
Just unlocked the geth spitfire...

Marksman is fine, too.

I used it on a Destroyer Once (hillarious!) but it works well if you hang back behind the team and concentrate on bosses.
Just don't do the pizza run
Everything else will be dead before you get there.

At very low/starting levels, its a good weapon for smacking your enemy's head with. Once you fully upgrade it, it becomes a brilliant weapon for smacking your enemies' head with it.

Whenever I see a class that I think moves too quickly and does too much damage, I just slap the Spitfire on it and go to town. The synergy is perfect.

It's not bad at X but even on the Juggy I prefer the Typhoon. It is fun to start firing at the start of the wave and end the wave with 40 rounds still in the magazine, having never reloaded.
Yeah..this has been my experience as well...the juggy is decent with the gun, but i still find him to be more effective with the typhoon, and as fas as the destroyer goes..i always equip him with the typhoon/devastator mode...that guy is an absolute beast with that gun..it was practically made for him...

I use it for lawlz on my Flamerless GT, but that's about it.
Mine's only @ lvl II but even @ X I imagine I'll still only be using it for lawlz.

Its is excellent at destroying shields and barriers, I run it on classes that can naturally counter armor and have a fun time mowing down everything in sight, all day, erry day.
Batarians, Krogan, Asari, Armier Legionaries, and of course Geth are capable of making excellent use of it without being overly burdened by the movement penalty,
My Top Picks are as follows
Secondary's are optional, but recommended for the occasional needed sprint, I prefer the paladin, talon, disciple, BPP, and javelin

I did the Spitfire challenge yesterday by slapping it on the Warlord. He's tanky enough to stand there in the middle of London (I got London three UUGs in a row!) and take down Banshees with a stream of high velocity marshmallows. Which is stupid, but kinda cool too.

It's worthless.Flush it down the airlock.Such a disappointment...
I don't get it, how is it worthless and how is it a disappointment? Yeah, when I first unlocked it at level 1, I was pretty disappointed too (looking at Cyons weapons dps stat chart, and reading about it when it first came out on the old forum. Plus feeling bad with all that info that it only got a 10% buff instead of more or the initial fire rate that it was claimed to have, 600 instead of 650, etc, etc), why I pretty much never touched it until level 10 because I really wanted to notice it's dmg increase and for it not to suck anymore. That day finally came just a bit ago, just before maxing manifest by like a day or two, slapped on the Jug with the AR Gear/Amp and best ammo, and I was so happy I was going to finally try it at it's maxed level in Gold!
And I was not disappointed anymore, even with max Incendiary ammo I had on for that first time instead of the better Armour Ammo. I mean, what do you want it to do? Reeger dps? How would that make the game more fun? It wouldn't, and shouldn't. It's actually just right now, and maybe a bit too OP even?
And you may even want to say, "Why when Typhoon?" Well, I don't know, but isn't the Spitfire more accurate, especially with some stability? Plus way longer none stop supressing fire, thus not having to worry about wind up every reload (but yeah, wind up on Typhoon is way shorter, I know). And not to mention the weapon is very unique even with the Typhoon around, and fun. Cause we finally have the Terminator 2 Ahnold Spitfire... with zero casualties? No! that was me making bad a joke, it rocks!

What?! Beerfish you too?!! But... but why?
That's it, next time you see me, we're both playing with Geth Spitfire either on a Krogan Sol or Geth Juggernaut. Or at least on any other character that don't suffer that Revenant crazy glue to feet feeling while shooting affect. So all Krogans except Sentinal, Batarians, Jetpack Turians, Detroyer, Volus, and Juggernaut (am I missing any?).
Max consumables too with armour piercing ammo, because... yeah, just because. ![]()

Thread title: Just unlocked the geth spitfire..
Its shooting marshmallows...but lots of them... level 1
Its a fun non-melee way to play the juggy...I used I on gold, didn't die, didn't run out of ammo and didn't melee once.
Only two guns left to unlock....hurricane and venom....
Just done the same thing with the Juggy (see the other thread busy going south
) and although it's ok, and you'll kill stuff, it's really only godly when it comes to taking down large bosses. Otherwise I would take the Typhoon any day.

Any other role for this gun?
Yes. Throw it out the airlock.

After spending a whole bout killing the enemies of a Spitfire-wielding juggy with the Saber....I cannot say anything good about that overweighted pile of crap.

Is this gun honestly much better at 10? I have it at 2 and I need lv4 consumables just to make it tolerable. It's just gathering dust for me and threatening to waste my UR upgrades.
