So I watched a Mass Effect parody of David Bowie's Space Oddity and the line "Tell my L.I. I love them very much they know" {in the singers case garrus} Got me to thinking who gets screwed the most {not literally} By the endings.

 

Edi dies in destroy and so do the geth , Avina too not that anyone cared, etc.

 

Thanemancers- Have it actually pretty good. In Control and Synthesis they'll meet Thane across the sea.

Jacobmancers- Well they don't have anyone to lose now.

Single Sheps- only leave behind friends.

 

Right now I think the person who gets screwed the most is Jack in a non Destroy ending. Shepard taught her to love again after she only ever let one man into her heart and he went off and sacrificed himself to save her. Then Shepard does the same thing. She may still have her kids. But I doubt she'll ever be able to love again.

 

But then again Miranda is unable to have kids at all. She has Oriana but one can imagine if Shepard is her L.I. and dies. She buries herself in work eventually becoming an old woman alone in her study still going over research and passes away from a heart attack.

 

Tali is extremely emotionally fragile but with Mr. Vakarian and a bottle of Dextro Alcohol she'll probably find herself hooked up with him. {I'm a Talimancer myself but i'm being honest here} I don't think Tali would live on Rannoch though because it reminds her too much of Shepard.

 

Liara is the romance Bioware intended from the start. I'm convinced that even if you didnt romance her she's going to have Shepard's little blue baby. As a character she seemed to develop evenly along with Shepard. Tali went from shy and akward to flirty if romanced or smartass otherwise. Garrus was always smartass except for awkward with shep until they got through that. But Liara went from naieve young archaeologist to ruthless information broker to being the asari version of Shepard bearing her own peoples weight on her shoulders.

 

Anyway what do you all think?.

I think Liara, Ashley and Kaidan have it the worst. They already had to suffer through losing Shepard once now s/he is dead again it's especially bad for the VS who just got Shepard back after a few tense months together.

My femshep is a giant AI controlling reapers and watching all her friends + the geth beeing happy. Except for Liara, but not everyone can be happy, sacrifice the one for the many.

As LOTSB hinted at, Miranda, is a lonely figure (despite that figure probably being able to get her anyone she pleases). With the loss of Shepard she returns to that place and finds it difficult to replace the savior of the galaxy. There's also the fact that Shepard wasn't just a companion, but also her "creation". She brings him back, falls in love with him, he goes and does this impossible thing and dies. That can't be easy.

Except in the extended cut thats the equivalent of Shepard's child or clone. It admits that it's not shepard but a whole new entity. Just in case you thought Shepard was now a hologramatic stream of information which could use it's reaper resources to build itself a new body and go back to its love interest.

Combined with her painton pants Miranda's only real thrill in life is Shepard and if he dies those paint on pants will probably die too.

During the fight she asks you if you're as turned on as she is if you say yes she says "thats my boy" and then they start out kissing and the camera pans away to show the volcano erupting in an evocative manner.

Emily Wong isn't dead in my game just lost amidst the chaos. So is Han Olar, Zabaleta, Corporal Toombs, Finch/Fish? , Manuel, Mouse, and assuming Talitha didn't get psychologically recovered from years of sexual slavery and adopt the last name Draven then Talitha and every other NPC not mentioned in ME3. I cared more about Talitha then any other character in the series but because she was an NPC just to establish a little differences between the three starter backgrounds she gets a letter to shepard in ME2 and as of ME3 we can only assume that she's among the many NPCs who vanished in that time. She was the one character who had the strongest emotional impact on me and GRAAAAHHH. I'm fine! I'm fine. I'm over it.

LBB means Little Blue Babies right? Probably because it's a bit catchier then Garrus "adopt a krogan war orphan" or "Quarian toddlers in hamster balls" Which I really hope is a thing because that would be hilarious just having them rolling around in the background adorably hilarious. Thane's gone and already has a son. It's never really addresed if Shep will be Kolyat's stepmom. Jacob has Brynn, Miranda is infertile {probably for the same reason you can heavy bone weave shepard but not Joker which would probably result in normal bones] Jack has her students but i'm sure she'd pop out a little biotic badass baby "goo goo ga ga  I will destwoy you!," Kaiden and Ashley don't really bring up kids {i wouldnt know though I don't relationship them} Cortez might adopt but he doesnt bring it up, Traynor is a kinky devil I wouldnt doubt she used Kahlee Sanders "adjustable massage wand" so Babies aren't something that she's likely to want. Diana Allers would end up with Trillian Syndrome, and Vega... Well actually Vega could be a good dad but he'd either drop out of N7 to be raise the kid or that would be the first baby to survive N7 training. {of course it would it's part Shepard} Samara probably wouldnt have another child even if it was with shepard and Kelly is too traumatized for now. Hey maybe she's getting treatment with Talitha.
