I like Grunt, but to be honest I wonder if Okeer would have actually been more interesting.
I'd probably replace Liara with some ME2 squaddie. Don't much care which (except Legion), I just reckon that as the Shadow Broker she needs to be Brokering things in the Shadows.
And out of series... replace EDI with Bender?

I've suggested Shiala in the past, but then I remember that she and Liara are the only Asari in the galaxy who... haven't quite, mastered human... speech.Nah. I used to be more of a kinda-sorta-not really browncoat, but as my tastes evolve and time goes on, I really question what I liked about the series as time goes on. It's a good show, but it's like how Lost is for J.J. Abrams. I never understood why it's counted among its creators' best works.
Lost was just plain not good IMO, and Firefly was decent, but not what I'd call great or groundbreaking.
