What teaser concept art?

Hopefully, it's fully 'next-gen'. I expect it to be. I'm already tired of the games that are/were developed as cross-gen experiences. Holds back the creativity. Just as importing hinders creativity, so does trying to develop the best game you can whilst putting it out on 9 year old hardware.

I'd take that article with a massive pinch of salt. The fact it states it is being beta tested on PS3 tells you all you need to know about its accuracy.

Nintendo bough ME IP, so now the game will be released exclusively on 3DS

Well Bethesda did with the big Skyrim release.

Depends if BioWare wants to though. But I'm too tired to buy the Trilogy three times. If they're gonna put all DLCs on disks, it's gonna be over $70 due to the DLC prices too.

TBH there's no need, modders have released better textures - and unless they release new content with it then why bother?

it's not like ME1 looks ugly if you mod the textures, and they won't change the combat/upgrade mechanics.

If the game was being released soon, I'd be disappointed if it was next-gen only, but seeing as how it's still a long way off, I can't imagine that I wouldn't have the hardware to play it by then. Of course, I'd love to squeeze as much life out of my PS3 forever (I've only had it for 2 years though). I'm glad Inquisition will be available for PS3 though, because I just don't want to buy a PS4 just yet.

I to like my ps3 and don't expect to be giving it up anytime soon.

 

I plan on getting a ps4 just before the release of DAI and get a copy of the game for both systems

 

As for MENext, I wouldn't be surprised if its just for the new systems and pc only.

I really like my Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. I would love to see the games on those consoles but I don't really want to see them limited by the hardware. Besides if they did make a new trilogy (which IMO is most likely happening) then I would want all of them on the same console. 

 

Sort of on a tangent but relatively still on the topic...that is what I hate about Halo 4 and the new saga that it has spawned. It is very unlikely all the games will be on Xbox 360 due to the consoles age. So they are practically doing the same thing they did with the first trilogy back in the 2000's and it ticked me off just as much back then.

I'm firmly in the camp of the game being a nextgen exclusive. The consoles have held back the developers long enough now and when you look it at it, a release in and around in next 1.5 year or so, I dunno if PS3/360 would be able to handle it at all. Certainly not to a acceptable standard. And I don't want them to waste their energy & resources on something which would turn out pretty underwhelming in the end.

 

DAI I can understand because the install base is still rather 'new-ish' so they still want the last gen users. But I'm rather sceptical about how it'll perform on the ps360 too.
