Maybe this isn't a big deal to anyone else, but I hated having to go through climactic or crucial scenes with just three companions, knowing that I was missing out on unique dialogue or actions from the party members I left back at camp. Of course, I get the four-member party, and I don't want that to change! But please include scenes like the attack on the party camp in Origins, or the final battle in DA2: ones where (potentially) all of your companions join in, even if you can't directly control them.

Extra points if it's a cutscene or plot-heavy rather than "merely" combat. Anyone else agree? If I'm gonna have nine companions (who are themed around being the best of the best!), I wanna see them in action, together! At least once?  ^_^

as long as this happens WITHOUT AUTO-DIALOGUE (which cutscenes very ofte do - which IMO does not fit and RPG though)

Agreed! I'd love to see everyone together more often.

(Of course BioWare would release a video mere hours after I post this showing the Inquisition and all companions coming together...heh.)

I agree i think, too often in Bioware games they have this cool dramtic scene that would be made better with the inclusion of more party members. The scene in DA2 for example during the Qunari attack when you enter the Vicounts Keep, there is just you and 3 party members, if they did that scene and you burst in with your whole party you look a lot more imposing and you can see the whole gang working together.

The only problem is that I would leave people at camp so I did not lose favor with them. I think maybe the big cut scenes it would be nice but not at the lose of favor cause I left them at camp for a reason.

Yes. Like in NWN2.

This is something I'm hoping for. I found it weird how often you have crazy stuff happen and your groupies are nowhere to be found because they weren't active members of the party.

Have them in an alternate party really picking up the rear and they sprint up to catch up when stuff happens before running back to really covering your 6 again.

The concept of having people together like in the table scene is something that has me really excited for the game.

Yes, this would be nice. I'm reminded of some old JRPGs where your party members would just absorb into your body when exploring and combat would only involve three of them, but it was implicit that they were all along for the ride. Though it sacrificed sense, it does seem like that allowed more narrative opportunity to develop any companion at any time, compared to DA's method in the last two games where none of the companions can really have essential dialog, unless they're really essential in which case they're forced into your active party.
