Was anybody able to identify the voice of the Inquisitor?

Looking at the group screen cap do you think they went back to the Origins elf design or did they keep the big eyed ones from Dragon Age 2. I liked the DA2 design it made them look different from humans other than the pointy ears.

The girl to the left of Sera looks super Kawaii.

The noses still look pretty much DA2 style, with there being no dip at the bridge. Ears certainly aren't as extreme as some of the DA2 designs, but there was quite a lot of variety there. Eyes are hard to tell, though I think I can see some of Sera's whites, which might suggest they don't have the enlarged irises

There aren't enough heart smiley face emojis to express how great everything/everyone looks! I think I almost had a heart attack when Varric spoke.
So exciting. I'm not going to be able to focus for the rest of the day.
You go Bioware.

Doesn't this mean the blonde guy is in the Judas Iscariot position... foreshadowing!
Well technically, Judas is the one with the bag in his hand, leaning his elbow on the table. Varric is in the Judas Iscariot pose, leaning with his elbow up on the table.
That'd be one hell of a twist.
Annoyed though, at the attempt by Bioware to put more Jesus Christ symbolism into their work. Hopefully the trailer is all. I firmly believe the Jesus Christ symbolism is what ruined Mass Effect as a series in the end.

Well, this makes twice in one day.

I really think folks are reading more into that picture than what is there. It's a great high resolution wide-angle shot of all the companions/ named plot important NPCs we'll be meeting in our journey and giving us a direct hand. Nothing more, nothing less.

6 guys and 3 women is no problem. Feels more random and real, than a 50 50 amount would.
I doubt you'd say that if it were 6 women and 3 men.

I am definitely seeing the Last Supper painting by da Vinci in that last group shot, now that people have pointed it out...
So I had this funny idea that whichever companion a given Inquisitor likes the least, the one that disagrees with them most, the one that rarely gets taken out on missions, the one who the Inquisitor fails to win the loyalty of... could end up betraying the Inquisitor. And every companion could have their own reason for doing so...

If it's not deliberate, it's fairly uncanny. Though it's probably more of an in joke from the artist than an attempt at real symbolism.

So long as the Inquisitor isn't crucified in the end, it's all good.

Sigh. Disappointing trailer. High fantasy feeling off the damn charts, too heroic, Inquisitor too emotional, gives too much damn about the whole thing, everything seems cliche as hell.
Whatever.. Getting it anyway, I like DA world.

I'm curious why the Inquisitor being emotional and giving a damn is a bad thing? The world is sort of being ripped apart. Should he be Stoic McBroodypants about that?

Yeah I'd be stoic too if I randomly survived an explosion that killed everyone around me. ![]()
Of course he's going to be emotional. He has a huge burden thrust upon him, one that rivals the Blight in scope.
Given that the fade is believed to be the source of magic, then a fade breach is going to make the world "more magical", and therefore more "high fantasy".
All we had were glimpses of combat, a small "intro" to the inquisitor's origin, and a snapshot of a few companions. Is that too much info? At least they didn't pause all the action to crack some lame joke.
---
I'd really wish people stopped to contemplate their disappointment, and realize how deluded they are. Not saying you don't have the right to feel whatever you do, but I really think you're exaggerating.

This is one of the reasons I hate voiced protagonist. What if I don't care about all the dead people? What if I just want to investigate the veils and see if it really a threat or if there can be something useful gained from breaching the veil? What if I don't like emotional people and don't want to play one? What if I want to roleplay a little closer to home? A lot of things you know.
And then the trailer just comes and says: ''Nah, you DO care, you are this and this, and you sound like this ( not even just the voice but the expression the manner. )
Just rubs me the wrong way.

Right. Here's my main disappointment - I like to roleplay myself as the character, thinking what I personally would do in all situations and it was just confirmed that I will not be able to do this. Now I do still enjoy roleplaying out of character, roleplaying someone else, but I enjoy it less. There.
