It's not surprising. He uses daggers as his primary weapon. Sure, he's magical in nature, but he's not a mage as far as utility goes. He doesn't have any spell training. Heck, technically he's apparently a spirit, anyway... His choice of weapon defines him, imo, and that's clearly rogue. He's just the only rogue in the DA universe who actually turns invisible when he stealths. lol

How did he kill people in Asunder? I focused on the "look into my eyes" thing but never even paid attention to his method. Was it a magical draining thing or a straight-up dagger?

 

Either way, good point. He's not exactly typical in any sense.

He can make himself "invisible" (he's not actually invisible, people simply unconciously can't see him, like a shadow at the corner of your eye) and then he just walks up to the his victims and slits their throat.

No, it's most definitively the Grey Wardens.

1-The lighting and scenary is exactly the same.

 

2-Both sides are wearing the Inquisition armor seen in the PAX demon and the Grey Warden official armor introduced in DA2. Some are wearing the Warrior version, others are wearing the Rogue version (for instance, the Warden that is pushed off the battlements) while the one the Inquisitor kills is wearing a Grey Warden Commander armor.

 

I can assure you the Inquisition is fighting the Grey Wardens.

Well, at least this Inquisition is fighting the Grey Wardens. I doubt they'll be like the Red Templars, i.e., an enemy no matter what. More like a "depends which route you take" and which alliances you make kinda thing.

 

I hope there's an option in every interaction with Cole right to the end of the game to choose "Wait, who are you?"

Maybe but I doubt it. For one, they already showed this battle in the first trailer and it seems that a lot of effort has been put into it; you can see the armies clashing, the Inquisitor is scaling walls, there are catapults about; and I seriously doubt the game is so reactive that they'll cut something like this based on choice.

I am definitely seeing the Last Supper painting by da Vinci in that last group shot, now that people have pointed it out...

They have made occasional references to the First Warden and how even some Grey Wardens think he's involving himself too much politically...but I got the sense that was more of a regional thing in the Anders, which isn't in Inquisition.

 

Oh, well, I'll hold out hope that it's some splinter group of Wardens like Sophia Dryden's and not the order as a whole!

I am actually disappointed with the trailer, I was expecting F!inquisitor too but the biggest disappoint was finding out that there are only 3 female companion and 6 male ones. What is the point of saying the cover is gender-neutral and than have this trailer, also why not a black inquisitor?

Ah, well. My hype it is really low now, I have this feeling that I am not going to like the way the LI are going to be done.

4 - As yet unknown rogue ? Looks like dual blades sheathed in the back. Also character seems... off somehow, visually. Darkspawn? (rogue, melee?)

7 - Iron Bull, Qunary mercenary (warrior)

8 - As yet unknown Military Advisor

9 - As yet unknown (Leliana?) Espionage Advisor

So basically 9 companions (3 mages , 3 rogues , 3 warriors) + 3 advisors (military,espionage/political,economic/social).

After seeing a better shot on the official site I'm calling it.  Third rogue is Cole.  Couldn't see how shaggy his hair was in the trailer.

It's just too beautiful! I never considered myself a graphics wh0re but... it's like a CG movie. So pretty. Hoping the interactive cutscenes retain that fidelity. And it looks like that emo kid is in the game. Also Littlefinger Lookalike.
