Who is the person between Leliana and Cassandra?  I really can't tell.

 

Could be a random NPC or an important character in that scene, doesn't really look like anyone from the party.

You know what?  You are absolutely correct.  I went back and watched that video about a half dozen times and didn't see anyone there.  So he's there in the screenshot, but not in the video?  Must be Cole!!

I can already tell that I'm going to love Vivienne.  A strong, opinionated ostentatious Orlesian mage.  Yes please.  Her fabulous appearance only makes it better!

Yeah, she is stunning.  I'm not holding out hope for her to be an LI, but if she is, I might just do a playthrough where I romance her.  Especially if she's an f/f option.  Of course, I might also end up hating her, so TBD, I guess....

Will be interested in learning more about Solas and Sera. Iron Bull, Cassandra and Vivienne don't appeal to me at all based on what little I know now. Did not care for the character of Cole.

 

Right now Varric and the GW look like the best companions for me so far. Will see if I add Solas and/or Sera. The "Dorian" character I know nothing about so will definately need to wait for more info.

So this is all we know about Sera right now:

If you don't like Iron Bull or Vivienne's descriptions, I could see her description leading you to not really like her much either.

And for Dorian, it's even less, given that we don't know for sure that DHMG even is Dorian.  We've all just kind of run with that, but it hasn't been confirmed.  But based on this description, I'm hoping it is him because he sounds (and looks.....) awesome.

Vivienne I'm not too fond off, she strikes me as very stuck-up and full of herself

 

Sera sounds like she'll be fun

 

Solas I don't know very much of, but I like his design

 

If it's Dorian, I think he'll be fun to play

 

Iron Bull I don't know anything about, but I hope he's not qunari, that would aggravate me. 

 

Cole (if it's Cole), I was okay with in reading Asunder

 

Beardsley the Warden I know nothing about.

 

I'm interested in seeing Cullen and Leliana again, even if they aren't party members.

 

I like the robed girl second from the right, but I don't know anything about her.

 

 

 

But for all I know, Iron Bull and Vivienne may be interesting. Who knows. I'll be more than happy to give it a shot.

It was said there were only nine companions, so yes, it does seem these are our nine.

Companions were the absolute last place I expected BioWare to take fan feedback into account, yet they've hit most of the types I asked for...

Those are fan guesses, but they seem pretty plausible. I believe one of the recent dev interviews said the third focus area was diplomacy and politics, which included trade/money.

 

No info on the woman wearing gold, although she was seen in other concept art writing something (perhaps a letter):
