DId the devs confirm there's no level scaling already? I thought I read that somewhere but it could be a false memory. I hope so at least, I hate level scaling especially with items.....
Was NG+ talked about yet? what about Crafting?

don't know if its been "officially" confirmed but every source i can find all the way back to the 2013 unreleased demo has said that NPC's wont scale. some areas will be hard some will be easy, you may find enemies so tough you have to abort and come back later or try to avoid them if your levels too low.
I find it highly unlikely given the amount of attention this has gotten that they would change it once they had already started actual builds, i'm pretty sure you cant just go from one type or the other. If they changed their minds I'm pretty sure they would need to pretty much start again from scratch.

What qualifies as a NG+? Would getting a few achievements upon game completion that unlocked special starting gear count?

Depends it takes on many forms. One game I rather enjoyed NG+ just started you over at the beginning but you gained experience 4 times faster. Others let you replay the game with all your equipment. In persona 3 I believe NG+ only started you over with your characters personality intact and all your items but not your equipment or levels. Typically I prefer to start over with all your stats and equipment. I mean the thing that has kept me playing through Lightning Returns again and again is my desire to just keep pushing LIghtning's stats higher.
Just the act of developing a character I like into a more and more powerful being is enjoyable to me. This doesn't tend to reset if the characters level resets of course or if the level cap is too easy to reach.
Tales of Vesperia has an amusing system. At the end of the game you're given a list of perks you can buy for a new game+. The thing is the currency you use to buy these perks are earned in combat and build up throughout the game. The better you do in battle the more points you get. Some of the perks you can buy even make the game more difficult. Typically those are very cheap. The perks that make the game easier such as 10X base experience gain cost a lot.

I believe that depends on if there is anything to do after the game is over. I don't know about everyone else but for me once I finished every none repeatable quest in Skyrim my desire to play it dropped sharply. It would be nice if there were some quests that opened up only after the world threatening threat had been either resolved or contained.
Yeah, post-game content would be lovely. It'd be sort of like a playable epilogue, with the Inquisitor helping stabilize things further in the wake of the demon invasion thing. I'm hoping for some pretty substantial post-game DLC as well.

there are multiple forms of NG+, the one I'm hoping for if they even think about adding a NG+ is that starting a NG+ would unlock new areas, side missions, NPC's, or (and this the important one) alternative endings for either the main story or the more important side quests.

Here's hoping... although I keep getting this gut feeling that DA:I is going to end like ME3, with the protagonist dying and any dlc released will take place before the ending unless it uses someone else as a protagonist.. god I hope I'm wrong on that.

But they've already confirmed that you get to run around post-game, so that implies that the Inquisitor lives (at least in one ending). And excuse you, my Shepard ain't dead. ![]()

It doesn't hurt to ask.
There is no need to make a new thread asking the exact same question every month or so, the game is still months away they'll most likely give most of the details when its near completion.

did they? thank god...
oh where's your proof that shep doesnt die? sure they look somewhat happy/relieved that they didn't have to put his name plate on the memorial.. for all we know he's in an ICU and dies some time later since i doubt they have the resources to do much in terms of repairing his body after a galaxy wide war with the reapers, the guy was in an explosion from a highly advanced space station (which i'm guessing would cause quite the explosion due to the stuff needed to power it) and fell from low earth orbit (at least) onto what seemed like solid ground. But oh well, now i'm just being a dck ![]()

They literally brought her back to life after she was blasted into space in ME2. I think having any sort of vital signs at all means that she's gonna be okay. And galaxy-wide war doesn't mean that all of their resources are completely drained. Hell, I gathered most of those resources myself.

Of course. NG+ and post game content would give you even more time to enjoy your top end gear or your favorite abilities. One thing that NG+ is meant to solve is you get to enjoy your top end staff of smiting for more then the final hour of game play. If post game play is meant to fix that wouldn't it mean you have to get the staff well before the game actually ends?
