Sheryl Chee confirmed to be returning as Leliana's writer via Leliana's new Character Profile

Looks like Leliana is all but confirmed to be the leader of the Inquisition's spy network according to this interview (fair warning: the interview contains some minor spoilers about the beginning of the game): http://www.ausgamers...es/read/3432915

According to Mike Laidlaw via twitter, Leliana's eyes appearing brown in some screenshots is a bug. Her eyes will be blue in DA:I

 

 

 

*Also  I don't consider it much of an update but Leliana has been confirmed to not be a romanceable character multiple times but since it keeps seeming to pop up I'm putting this here. I repeat Leliana is not romanceable by the inquisitor.*

Note: This thread is for discussing Leliana, in an appreciative manner. I know a lot of people still can't get over about how her death was seemingly "retconned" because of random game animations, resent her for it, and like to call her the Liara of the Dragon Age series and I would like to see little to none of that in this thread.

I'm so very happy that she's coming back, and for a significant role, I assume. My favourite character of the franchise so far. Frostbite 3 Leliana looks excellent.

She's the one character who looks cool in all three games. Quite a feat

 

 Yeah she seems to be immune to the powers of aging. It's quite amazing.  

She looks like Triss in that picture But great to see her again.

It's a screenshot from the newest trailer. The newest trialer is titled as a gameplay trailer so this is how she will appear in the game more or less. What we do not know however is if this is a pre-rendered shot of her or her actual character model.

Thanks. That's really impressive then. She looks really good. Also as everyone in this thread I am thrilled and I'm happy to see Leliana again with apparently a major role in inquisition !

I personally think the eyeliner is a bit much, but I agree she does look stunning. She seems to look better with every game release... Must be all the caramel pudding? Or perhaps the work of the Maker's blessing.

This time she can't get away. It's time to inquire! I mean, her appearance would be very disappointing if we couldn't ask some very important questions:

 

-If she died in DA:O: "Wait, weren't you dead?"

-If she romanced the Warden: "What happened with the Hero of Ferelden?"

 

And this time no hand-waving, please. Especially if she's not going to be a cameo, but an advisor.

Leliana was one of the few face changes that I liked and it seems like that's the case for a lot of people, so even if it seems weird that they'd change it again, it does make sense that they might as well go all in now that they can actually replicate her as she was originally revealed.

 

That last shot seems to imply she'll be a companion or someone close to that. oh mah gawd
