I don't think they'd have another writer for her, unless Sheryl was so packed with work she couldn't possibly find the time to write Leliana again. On that note, is Sheryl confirmed as a writer for any of the companions?
I don't think so.

I don't think so.
I asked Sheryl on Twitter whether she was writing Leliana and she replied: "Hi! I'd rather not say. People seem fixated on who wrote what for some reason. I'd prefer not to encourage that fixation."
I'm going to guess that's why we don't know which, if any, companions she's written.
I kind of feel bad for asking now.

Well thats pretty much was no ![]()
I can honestly say I don't care who writes her.
As long as it's not me...it would be awful in that case.
I always liked Liara in ME3 and she had a different writer in every freakin' game ![]()

Doesn't have to be.
People tend to color their perception of characters based on who wrote them, especially when you don't know much about the character in question yet. Bioware not wanting to reveal the writers for individual characters could be simply to prevent that.
I find people make assumptions about what type of personality a character will make based purely on the person that wrote them.
I'm not gonna lie, I didn't even know who wrote Leliana in DAO, lol
I am sure that if another writer picks up Leliana, the results will be respectable.
As long as Gaider does not touch her I'm fine. Nothing against Gaider but after what he did to Isabela, I rather he stay away from Sheryl's characters.
Maker bless OP. So, let's praise Leliana, brothers and sisters. Let's sacrifice to Her some fools that tried to kill Her in the Haven's Temple and to their shame, had failed to do so.
....thereby proving yourself to be of the same mindset as said fools. ![]()

I would have though that Isabella as a Char in DA:2 was quite good and given the way DA:2 system worked she was sort of in line with DA:0
(IE yes it is a bit naff to learn the duelist specialization from someone that can't use sword in DA:2 but that's a DA:2 system issue)

Gaider didn't write Isabela in DA: II - Sheryl wrote her. Gaider wrote the Silent Grove comics - where Isabela also appears in.

Isabela was written by Sheryl in DA2.
What didn't you like about Isabela?
I think it was probably the comic that was being referred to, where [spoily thing] is revealed that many people felt made her pretty irredeemable

Which makes her a hypocrite considering her attitude towards slaves in DA 2.

Neither do I

I like her character. I just wonder why they changed her look from DAO to what we see in DA2.
Apparently she was actually pretty dark skinned in DAO, it was the lighting in the Pearl that made her look pale. Beyond that, they wanted to make her more distinctive. I don't mind, I just wish they hadn't gone the no pants route.Neither do I

I liked it better when she had the red hair from DAO's trailer...

To be fair to David, he simply wanted to introduce some character development. The problem specifically with Isabela is that she's a sort of fragile character, where it's quite easy to do something that'll make her act out of character. You need to really know how to handle her, and David obviously wasn't quite successful on that front.

Depends, do you mean skin colour? Because she was always dark skin. If you mean face probably to make her look more unique which I loved.

If you mean From Ashes, that face was based on a real person and was done way after Lelianas face was already finished and shown in pictures and in her character video.

Her skin and face are fine. Its her body. Was there a reasom to make her chest bigger than what we saw in DAO? And from the looks of it made her butt standout a lot more.

Well, she was a minor character in DA:O, so they probably didn't put much thought to how she looks, aside from making sure she came across as Rivaini. In DA2 she had a much bigger role, so needed a more detailed visual design.
Isabela was written by Sheryl in DA2..
ooooooooooopss, rry mate,
i did not read the comic hence my total misunderstanding of you comment.

Well in in DA:O all human females have the same body.
This leaves two possibilities:
If she now has her own body, she probably was always intended to look like this, but the old game didn't allow this.
If she's using a generic female body, BioWare did not see the need to spend money for an individual body.

Hee hee. Don't feel bad, Maria.
There's a lot more space here so I'll explain some of my reasons for being reticent. By the time the game is out, a character like Leliana will have had a huge ton of work poured into her, from several different departments—art, cinematics, level design, to name a few. Of course there is writing, but much of her character also comes across in how she looks, how she moves, the expressions on her face, and of course, her VO. There's so much that goes into fleshing out a character that it makes me a little uncomfortable how much people seem to obsess over just the writing.
Apart from that, people seem to believe they can predict whether they'll like a character going by who has written them. For instance: "Sheryl wrote Isabela, and Isabela was a worthless **** so I'm sure I'll hate whoever else Sheryl wrote." (This is an exaggerated and hugely simplified example. I don't think anyone has actually said this thing.) Setting aside the obvious problems of disliking people because of their perceived "sluttiness" or whatever, it also seems to imply that writers can only write one thing, or that their writing in the past is indicative of their writing in the future. Writers can grow too, you know. And sometimes we like to write things that are (gasp!) different from things we've previously written.
Anyway, those are my reasons for not wanting to answer Maria's question. I understand being totally excited about the character/game and grasping at every shred of information. I just feel that "who wrote what" can be misleading, and would prefer if people played the game without these preconceived ideas in place.
Okee! Carry on speculating. More shoe talk plzkthx.
