At this point I'm more worried about her dying than anything else. That cliffhanger is not doing my heart any good.

All men must die. I think I would be more disappointed if everyone survived the end of the world.

Just read that as well. It does sound like Leliana will die during that mission - if you make the wrong choices.
Seems like Sera did die after all. And people kept saying that she was just unconscious ![]()
That's what you get for not tying dem killer thighs down, interrogator dude.

Hmm makes me wonder if this part of the game happens towards the end of the game....
Also yeah Sera looked pretty dead to me...
Well, they said depending on your choices you can end the game only with one companion. Seems like demo Inquisitor is determined to do so.

Its what you get for tying her down altogether. Only the warden has that right.
That interrogator needs to check his privileges

On the one hand, yay, it's conditional! On the other...the direct result of which choices? *bites nails*
Since you get to choose who you send on certain missions, I'm betting Cullen would be the "correct" choice for this one, not Leliana.
A bunch of crazy mages terrorizing the countryside while led by a magister? Yeah, I think someone with a (former) Templar's skillset might be better suited.

Cullen would just order the army to lay siege right away ![]()
I hope that these character deaths are avoidable via common sense and proper insight and not something like ME2 and having a companion die because you didn't want to do a minigame for what seemed like a pointless ship upgrade.

Possibly or it could be that this mission failed not just because you picked Leliana but because of previous bad decisions.
Do you guys have a version of this demo with english subtitles?

Mike Laidlaw said that you can finnish the game with everyone still in the party. So I'm sure its avoidable ![]()

When you're given the chance to upgrade something that doesn't come with any explanation of what it will be useful for, please do.

To be fair they bash you over the head that upgrading the ship and doing all the LM is a good idea. It's even on one of the loading screens.

Brute force is exactly what I'm imagining he'd employ, and at least on the surface seems like a more logical course than infiltration. Especially if Cullen and possibly Cassandra have brought with them some Templars loyal to them into the Inquisition's fold, having that to send against a group of mages that are summoning demons into the world seems more logical than having a spy inflitrate the area and apparently attempt to assassinate their leader.
Now, if another mission calls for some Orlesian noble to have their throat slit in their sleep without anyone noticing, burly men in plate armor might be a tad less successful than the experienced bard.

"investing in extra shoes for Leliana is probably a wise move!"

...also the only one that's allowed to put her head between her thighs ifyouknowwhatimean

I hope we can "upgrade" our soldiers and give them templar training. Which in turn would make them more effective against mages.

Rawr.
"investing in extra shoes for Leliana is probably a wise move!"
lmao
But this whole trailer just makes me want to have my warrior go "let me love you" to Leliana D:

Well, the interrogator didn't have much choice in the matter ![]()
But I guess dying with your head between Leliana's thighs isn't so bad...
I doubt Leliana can truly die unless this is very late-game. Sera and Bull might because they're ultimately replaceable from a mechanical standpoint.
Leliana waifuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :'(
Yea im prolly not gonna send Leliana on this mission cause i loves her and dont want her be tortured!
