Pretty much.  It just reminds me how much I love Leliana.  Moreso now that she is the BAMF I always knew/expected her to truly be.

You could finish ME2 with everyone still alive. That's what I did in my very first playthrough of the game...

Exactly. I highly doubt they are gonna force mandatory companion/advisor deaths on us.

I'm usually against reloading to change outcomes, but if I dun goof and get Leliana killed, I don't care how far I have to go back to amend it.

Still alternative though. The fact she'd be a flesh-craving husk would make the scene slightly less endearing.

I doubt Leliana can truly die unless this is very late-game. Sera and Bull might because they're ultimately replaceable from a mechanical standpoint.

I just hope Leliana truly does have plot armor this time round!  But srsly I can't see them killing her off, I remember reading somewhere that advisors are pretty safe from such a possibility, I hope so. If Leliana dies, time to riot.

I know they will be avoidable. I just question the logic behind how they decide choices matter. Though I never had Jack die on me personally I always thought the reason she died in ME2 to be extremely cheap. 

 

Hopefully it will better in DA:I but  as a precaution I will be upgrading all the things...

1. Don't be too sure. Pretty safe is not completely safe.

If the intention of this demo was for me to make sure I upgrade all of Skyhold's bulkheads so nobody gets conveniently crushed by a bulkhead, they succeeded.

Same here, and so far in all Bioware games I have had a max of 3 saved file (2 most time). Looks like I am going to need a lot more than that in DA:I
