Yeah it's not like Corinne Kempa (Leliana's va) does countless commercial voice overs for France.... nah no way.... and it's not like its the same voice actress either or anything...

This reminds me of a date I went on with some guy and then he proceeded to say similar things about Corinne... I just completely went silent for the rest of the date it was pretty humorous.

Idiots...

Did you see the one with the poodle? Let me see if I can find it...

It was one of the biggest criticisms on Gamespot.

Yes, she was  a soft , giggling girl in Dragon Age:Origins. But now we can see how much harder she is, a totally different Leliana now. One could say even ruthless. I did say ruthless...not roofless :)

I'm sure it'd have freaked people out if she'd been exactly like that right after the Inquisitor freed her and then people would be mad because she didn't seem to have reacted to the torture in any way.

I saw the one for shoes. I started to wonder if it was actually Leliana.

People are just never happy.

One of the reasons I like Leliana as a character is that I always saw a part of her that was hard, even ruthless, and I have no doubt that she still is soft and giggly. There's a fluidity to her that allows her to hold all these different elements without conflict and bring one to the surface without negating the others.

I don't think she's *lost* her girlishness; it's sitting at the back of her head, feet propped on a table, reading the latest issue of W while drinking a mojito.

Would Leliana's girlish side drink a mojito? Maybe an apple carameltini. Bubbly pink champagne?

Oooh yes, I like that. While sipping on pink champagne.

This is all speculation though. She might be Wolverine now.

Would be ironic if Cassandra becomes very girly and giggly now.

I get the vibe she’s going to die as part of the story in DAI regardless of what choices you make, would explain an awful lot.

I have had this suspicion as well, perhaps she is going to be all like self sacrifice..

For some reason I feel like she'll die in the Black City in the Fade. Where the last battle will take place, which is my guess

I doubt its gonna be mandatory. You can continue playing after the story is over and continue expanding your Inquisition. Its not possible without advisors most likely.

Now maybe they'll die because of certain choices you made, but mandatory deaths are probably not gonna happen.

To be fair, we don't even know what post-endgame means in Inquisition, and if we'd even need our advisors for that.

And I do have this feeling that Leliana's story will end in Inquisition regardless.

Oiseau de malheur... Anyway, I find it interesting that Leliana was able to remain cheerful when facing the Blight, but now she has pushed that part of her back. I guess the cumulative losses over the years have taken their toll. Another factor is the fact that the Darkspawn are mindless monsters (Awakening aside), while the Mage-Templar war and the Breach were caused by 'ordinary' people. I think it's harder for her to accept those kinds of atrocities when perpetrated by people than a horde of monsters.

The odd assassination here and there is very different from wholesale slaughter.

By the looks of things yeah. She seems to have a sort of 'worn' look to her, which I like because it helps show the growth of her character. If she does die, I expect it will have something to do with being for 'the greater good'.

Well to be honest she is right and if you had her in your party in dao she saw zathrian curse , connor destroying Redcliffe , and broken circle and what avernus did then we have wilhelm. For next 10 years she was dealing with them and destruction they have caused Anders blow up chantry and insane mages were on rampage. Then they start destroy veil and devastate everything on their path. And that only few of their antics through 10 years timeline.Pretty much at this point most of peoples would start think the same well even much before.

Aye true, can't say I'm very fond of mages myself.

She's doing a 180 if this is the case. I always saw her as soft on mages. Just like Alistair. Leliana and Alistair will even brush aside blood magic if it means protecting innocents.

That was before mages blew up the Chantry and commited mass murder at a peace conference...

Maybe so.

I think it's for the better by the way. I never liked how she was before (on this matter at least.. I liked her in general though).

She had naive view on mages before something like cullen before broken circle and Thrask both paid for it.Answer is simple you can't trust mages it lead to disaster and she seems to know it.

Nothing is confirmed, but I believe it was heavily implied. I think Alexius has something to do with it atleast.

Well they did that in Redcliff so well besides only mages can interact with veil or demons but is already shown that mages are causing it.

Who else could open a tear in the veil? I'm honestly confused how someone with no magic ability could do that. Maybe whoever did it was not aligned with the mage side of the war, but it had to be a mage or several who opened that.
