Leliana, maybe, Morrigan, no.Do you guys think Leliana would call Morrigan a friend and vise versa?

I think Leliana would, Morrigan wouldn't.
Yeah pretty much, Leliana is easier to get along with, I love Morrigan too but she is quite polarizing in alot of ways.

I wonder if Leliana's potential hardening in DAO will make a difference.

Maybe if Orlesian fashions have caused them to bond.

I'm hoping it will in general, ibecause Leliana ended up hardened in my DA:O playthrough.

In general. It didn't make a difference with Morrigan, though it did make a slight one with Zevran.
Though, to be honest, I almost prefer unhardened there, because I'd prefer it if she didn't flirt with Zevran while we're together.

I'd be surprised. It didn't change her that fundamentally, and other stuff has happened since. Though Isabela may show up and mention a certain occurrence that was dependant on it.

It would be great if so, I always harden her in my runs.

So...unhardened she remains.

I would harden her on my canon run, but I hate all the dialogue options you have to say to her to do so. My Warden would have never told her any of that.
I don't like them either, I admit.

I kind of got the impression that her role as 'left hand of the divine' was a way of resolving the fact that she be influenced into two different directions in DA:O. She is working for the Chantry, so that ties in nicely with her unhardened piety and past as a Chantry nun in Lothering. On the other hand she is acting as a potentially ruthless agent of the Divine, which ties in more with her hardened love of a life of intrigue (she says the life of Chantry sister bored her if you harden her) and her past as a bard.

Well, I've seen people complain from both sides, so I guess it works as a compromise

Yeah... I can't RP saying anything other than "you're a good person", every time I do it feels wrong and I reload, forever softy.
But then I just kinda hate the hardening mechanic being that it's just one convo, would love something that was more spread out across several convos.
Not like it realistically made such a huge difference and it seems life itself has already hardened her a bit.

I never really saw it as flirting. More like her challenging him and knowing that he wouldn't do it.

Yes! That convo was awesome! I think he saw that Leliana would be too much for him to handle. ![]()

There's one other one that differs.
- Zevran: So I imagine it has been some time for you, Leliana.
- Leliana: Some time for me? I do not know what you mean.
- Zevran: Some time since you last knocked boots, shall we say? You did just come from the cloistered life, no?
- Leliana: Of course it has been some time. There are more important things in life than "knocking boots," Zevran.
- Zevran: Oh, I'll not argue that. I simply mean that the body has urges, urges given to us by the Maker. Yours must be... considerable. After all that time.
- Leliana: That is a very personal question.
- Zevran: I mean no offense. I simply offer my services should you ever feel the need for... release.
If hardened:
- Leliana: That's very kind of you to be concerned for my well being, Zevran.
- Zevran: Let it never be said that I'm not here to help when the call comes.
If not:
- Leliana: That's very kind of you. Perhaps I should speak to the Grey Warden for advice on whether or not to accept your offer?
- Zevran: (Sigh) Adventure has changed you, Leliana.
- Leliana: For the better, I hope.

Morrigan stumbles upon Lelianna reading some parchments
Morrigan: What are you up to now?
Lelianna: Checking over witness statements about the last time they saw The Hero Of Ferelden. You do know he/she has disappeared right?
Morrigan turns around and whistles suspiciously as she leaves...
Lelianna: Wait a second! You...!!!
Morrigan: Me? What ar eyou insiua
Lelianna: You got new shoes, I love them!!!!
Morrigan: Simpleton.

Romance acknowledgement I guess. Leliana doesn't have a lot of banter that does it when compared to others.
