This is the Leliana thread. Death has no hold here.

And Leliana was modeled after AlleyKatze...It's a sign!
Zounds. Dem thighs are supposed to be effective against anything. It said it right there on the box.
You forgot to recharge them after snapping that Venatori's neck.

Ugh. Am I only one terrified by the amount of people demanding to see humiliated, tortured and/or halfnaked Lelianna in that scene?
Some guys are just sick
I don't think it goes that far for most people. It's just the fact that she looks completely unharmed kind of jars with the tone. Anyway, we heard that this wasn't the final version, so we'll see what happened to her.

I expect it will just be a couple cuts or bruises on her face, and maybe her clothes are covered in dust. Like Shepard on Earth in the beginning of ME3 after you start playing.

Femshep or male Shep? Male Shepard looked beat the hell up, but female Shepard just looked like someone went crazy with the lipstick all over her face.

Eh, I don't think its some sort of torture fetish these people have, but more about wanting it to look more "realistic".

If for realism one needs to see a living being tortured and humiliated then it is a borderline fetishEh, I don't think its some sort of torture fetish these people have, but more about wanting it to look more "realistic".

Would something like this be too much to ask for? I doubt anyone got all excited when they saw this in The Witcher 2.

Custom male Shepards and Femsheps looked the same, but default male Shepard was the only one who actually looked legitimately wounded there.

Leliana is not a living being. She is a fictional character in a video game.
If someone feels a scene where it is implied she has suffered through torture somehow also visually conveys this to make the scene have more impact, that doesn't automatically make that person "sick".

THe Witcher 2 is probably the worst example for this because the TW2 wiki literally gives you instructions on The Dungeons of the La Valettes based on whether you want to see tortured boobs or not.

I was talking about Geralt himself. His back isn't exactly nice in that scene.
And just for the record: I don't want to see Leliana humiliated or whatsoever.
But if talking about it makes me come across as a sick person then who am I to say anything.

It is one of those "make a character look badass by giving him a couple of scars and not in humiliating clothes or pose"Would something like this be too much to ask for? I doubt anyone got all excited when they saw this in The Witcher 2.
This scene is hardly any more realistic than demo's except Geralt indeed has some visible scars. If it was real torture they would play with his meat not just skin leave him laying in chains in his own feces while peeing on him for fun. So when people demand more realistic approach to torture scenes I always nope out of the Internet
Either way is sickening. People getting tortured and humiliated is never fun, regardless of gender or type of torture. It shouldnt be

It takes a sick mind to enjoy someone's tears, pain and humiliation
