Enjoy has a number of meanings. The torture scene evokes intense emotions. Viewers seek that out because it provides catharsis. I want to see Leliana tortured for the same reason I want to see Hamlet die.

I dont recall my Warden and Alistair having injures in Fort Drakkon
Did it make the situation less horrible? No
Fort Drakon wasn't horrible, it was comical.

well, they are to me.I don't think those would could as small things lol
exactlyYeah, show don't tell.In this case the visuals are undercutting what the story is trying to convey.Given how...rash (understandable but not acceptable) Leliana's actions are during the negotiation, I really would like to see the graphics back up what is going on with her character.
That is not what she was saying.....So you enjoy a person getting tortured because it makes you feel better?
...
Wow, thats some fucked up ****

I'm out of likes, but I agree. Romeo and Juliette too would not be nearly as effective with a happy ending.

I don't personally get catharsis, at least not by seeing anyone sympathetic suffering. At least, not to the degree of ever enjoying anything with a tragic ending.

I am not upset by violence. I am violent myselfWe get it: you don't approve. It's just a video game! So can you please stop accusing everyone of being the Antichrist? That'd be great.
And if you are so upset by violence, why would you want to play this game? The protagonist is going to kill a bajillion things in this game, including people who have families. Why would you want to play a game like that? Don't you care that you will be depriving children of their parents?
I am upset that people enjoy and demand seeing other people suffer.
Life is cruel, life is violent. But people and animals have to be this way to survive, they have no other choice
Yet survival does not demand cruelty. One can kill for selfdefense, steal for food and lie to live another day
Cruel people though dont just do that. They kick a stray dog, rob the poor and take advantage of disabled.
Or, another type of cruelty - indifference - when people see suffering and dont do anything to stop it because they either dont care or enjoy it. This coldhearted pragmatism when a child cuts a fly's wings to see if it can fly without them
It is not just about the game. This is an attitude which touches both real and fictional worlds

You should see some of my DAO playthroughs. Connor killed. Anvil kept. I'm crafting the playthrough I want to use for import right now. It's fairly happy, but there are some evil choices made for character and metagame reasons. This doesn't mean I'm a sadist--it means I want Thedas to be a certain way.
And yes, Leliana romance is probably included.

She said she would. A diffirent type of enjoyment but enjoyment neverthelessNo, she is not. Maria would be one of the last persons on the bsn that would gain a kick out of Leliana tortured.

Pragmatism has nothing to do with cutting of the wings of a fly. Thats just someone beign sadistic.
Both are not related at all.
And how it relates to a video game is a mystery.

That would be neat, but I don't think so. There was some speculation about her being infused with red lyrium/infected with something.

Pragmatism is like when a commanding officer has to leave a squad behind to die because they would lose more men than they would save.

Curiosity drives a kid to try diffirent experiments on the world. Like burning ants with a lens
