Well we don't know how much she will get time on screen besides that we already know her backstory not mention there is still little reason to spread around with who she was sleeping same for morrigan well because with alistair as queen it isn't big secret and zevran as far i remember was telling everyone that you have spend night with him.

Man, you should have heard the wails and nashing of teeth. Liara fans hated the idea that she couldn't be proven to be Shepard's daughter, and thus could have been Liara and some other person. The idea of Liara not being faithful to Shepard and pining for no other companionship for the other 900 years of her life was about as popular as the fans of other LIs, who hated the idea that someone else could claim to be Shepard's child.

 

I think I loved the reaction as much as the idea.

That topic actually came up once before in the old Liara fan thread, and most (including myself) were against the idea of Liara alone and pining for dead Shepard for 8 centuries or so. Of course not everyone was in agreement.

 

We sometimes tend to think of the various fan groups as being monolithic, even though they are anything but. The implosion in the Miranda fan thread that brought the whole character subforum down is proof of that.

That would be amusing. Instead of companion gifts for followers, imagine if the followers gave you the player a gift based on your background and/or play style. Depending on your relationship with them, this could be very touching or an utter troll.

Leliana almost certainly wouldn't be an LI this time around. 

 

If however Bioware went that route, it wouldn't necessarily be 'cheating.' After all 10 years have passed since the events of DA:O and anything could have happened within those ten years. In order for it to be cheating, Bioware would also first have to establish that Leliana and the Warden were still in a relationship.

 

Of course this is all hypothetical, because I seriously doubt it is going to be an issue in the game. Leliana probably won't be an LI and her previous relationship status will probably carry over. 

 

That being said I wouldn't mind Leliana either being married or hooking up with one of the DA:I companions in a playthrough where there was no previous relationship with the Warden, or in a playthrough where the Warden romanced Leliana, but died slaying the archdemon.

I like that idea as well. I thought I even heard Bioware saying that they are gonna go with that in DA: I.

 She's both. Her mother was of Ferelden lineage so she has Ferelden genetic qualities, however she was raised Orlesian and knows that culture far better then Ferelden's
