Somehow doubt it that the warden told that considering that he didn't said even about his wedding (in CE case) what left Li shocked not to mention companions including Li know very little about warden past.
If you take Leliana to the Circle tower during the 'Broken Circle' quest, she can see the crush for herself.

I just realized something. She is said to not be romanceable, but they said nothing about NOT being able to have sex with her. So its not impossible that you can have an unemotionally friends with benefits deal with her right?
