I don't think I'll have to upgrade.

I want to see her from under the hood so bad right now.Hopefully there's a scene like that in the game.

leliana's gaming rig.
Hrmm, most of what i have heard about Alienware isn't positive, i mean sure they will build you a decent machine but it will cost outrageous sums of money.
Would be cheaper to just put it together yourself, they make kits for that, its how i made the PC i use right now.
Or at least have the braid dangle out of her hood.
That braid is, like, her signature thing.
Bleh, if you feel like upgrading driver software and switching out graphic cards like hotplates that your choice.
Doesn't make it superior to a format where you literally just need to pop in a disk and play.
then you have to switch discs mid game.... and god help you if your disk gets scratched in a earthquake... nah nah im good...
I used to have to pray to the gaming gods and basically do a blood sacrifice to get my copy of DA:O to work
Also there's stupid console UI upgrades...pay for multiplayer... ads everywhere.... a lot of draw backs...
If console gaming was anything like it was in the PS2 days when you did just put the disc in and play then I would agree with you but... no...
Well unless we're talking about nintendo consoles... which I still own, buy and endorse.

Soooo here's a thought. You're mage romanced Leliana, the magi Warden is in their mid to late teens....
I can see Cassandra thinking, "It would be cheaper just to put this together myself," not Leliana.
Must be a soldier mentality...No wonder i like Cass so much.

Really? I never had any trouble at with it, odd but i take decent care of my disks and machine.

On the PC you usually get packet updates every other playthrough depending upon the game, There are plenty of big name games with free multiplayer, such as Mass effect 3, That goes doubly for PC games, Just as many for PC.

It's just about the same as it was then.
I haven't supported nintendo since the gamecube, the revolution lost my interest.

Older relationships ftw,I think Leliana is in her early twenties though.
I always pictured my Dalish Warden as about 21/22, though I imagine the Mage Warden is probably the youngest of the bunch.

Leliana figures if you're old enough to become a Grey Warden, lead an army against the Blight, and destroy the archdemon, you're old enough to get some.
Age is just a number anyway.

Not necessarily wardens can live even up to 30 years after joining and Avernus found way to live much longer than human can.

Where does it say they are a teenager?
I thought the Warden was atleast 19-22

Where does that come from?
My mage Warden is 18 but that's all stuff I made up.

I'm curious to hear if that's been officially confirmed as well.
I know 18-22 has often been the generally accepted estimate around here, based off of factors such as being described as a "young man" in the case of a male Warden and "my youngest".

yeah, they build good machines, they are just overpriced and you are more just paying for the Alienware logo than anything else.

Yeah, I was under the impression that the Warden was pretty much just coming into adulthood to being in their mid 20s at the most. I figured almost everyone in the group was in their late teens to mid 20s as well asides from Shale, Wynn, Oghren, and Sten.
I think the human noble Warden is in his/her early 20s.

That sounds about right. I think David did say something about Morrigan being in her late 20's at the time of Origins, too.

Certainly a possibility. Hell, the Human and Dwarven Noble origins along with the Dwarven Commoner Origin could easily be at around that age range as well. The Dalish Origin also has some flexibility in age as well I think but I think it tends more towards the late teens to mid twenties.
The Mage and City Elf Origin seem like that's not likely as it usually seems like the city elf marriages/Mage's harrowing happen to those in their late teens mostly and if it happens any later it would appear odd and it's never commented like that in the story.

Really? I heard she was supposed to be around 18.

This is just from a quick Google search, but it appears David did talk about it at some point as the confirmation is referenced towards the end of this discussion from the Wiki.

Can you copy and paste the part you mean please? If not here, then in a PM. I don't see where it is confirmed.
Seems like the actual site where it was confirmed doesn't work anymore, but it was discussed in this thread
http://forum.bioware...rs-ages/#435226
I remember that site being basically a dev Q and A of sorts, so assuming it was indeed mentioned there, it should be official.
