IIRC, it's been stated that the Warden's chosen romance will come up.
In Leliana's case it was also deemed an 'active relationship' in a tweet from Darrah a while back I believe, for whatever that's worth.
leliana's best moment in my opinion...well best talking to the warden moment was when she was talking about how after she was hardened. The I like killing and violence thing. Best party banter was when she makes zevran shut up. When he propositions her and she says off with the pants and he does the..uh what? Similar to oghren and sigrun conversation. But the most hilarious conversation was with issabela when her,zevran,issabela,and the warden talk after they sleep together.
That reminds me of the people who say they accidentally romanced Zevran. How is that possible?
it's happened to me in both of my main play throughs. teh first time i gave him a couple gifts then morrigan and later he were talking to me about cheating or what not.
recently i gave him his feast day gift, i had never even talked to him and lelianna got pissy at me, i had to go break up with him twice.
For me the best moment was when she sang at the camp. I know it wasn't actually Leliana singing, but the voice and the song was truly beautiful...even the dog stayed quiet. 
Yeah, hence 'for whatever that's worth.'
Warden is kinda AWOL after all. I'm not sure how well 'active relationship' fits in the case of a relationship with a missing person. :S

Does anyone know if Leliana will stay acting dark/grumpy like in the Redcliffe Castle gameplay demo? She seems so different from Origins (& DA2, although her role in that game was small).

We don't really know how that sequence will fit in, it seems like it might not happen at all if you make different choices.

Yeah, it does sound like we will have to be ready for a dark Leliana in the game and at best only get some small glimpse of her old self. But I don't really buy what Sheryl say. She had no problem with being cheerful and funny in DA2 or Asunder and still be an high ranking agent of the Divine. I just hope it's an exaggeration and that they haven't gone all Anders on her and completely changed her character.
If dark leliana is fine with me choping mages on half , doing what is best for me and well won't whine im fine with dark leliana but still don't trust her.

I would prefer to call her depressed Leliana. The change in her personality seems to be triggered by the death of the Divine and the bigger responsibility the inquisition has given her. To me from the little we have seen it seems like she's just putting on a stronger face at work. As someone who work's in public service, I myself have to do a lot of psychological detachment at work, enforce rules I don't necessarily agree with and fill into the role of a leader. There are days when it really takes a toll on you.
But ehh we really don't know a lot at this point, and the only time we have seen her was right after she was tortured.... so of course she's going to seem rather agitated.
Maybe she really is only like that after she gets tortured. Maybe she is just DA 2 Leliana for the rest of the game

I think she had the right balance in attittude. Not too serious, but not "innocent" sweet either.
I thought love of smelly cheese was embedded in Orlesian genetics.

I haven't personally. I did get the Mabari plush for someone as a gift though.
I have an old DA:O shirt I got at Hot Topic, and I put the N7 badge I got in the CE on a plain black hoodie.
Seriously though I want a Leliana shirt and/or hoodie based on her new gear as previously mentioned in the beginning of this thread.
