The armor will be in the game, it's just not suppose to be in that scene. My guess is that there is a reason for it. Maybe the real one wasn't finished yet or maybe it spoils something?

 

No, she really has changed. Sure, she was always cold blooded when needed but not like this were she even make things worse. My guess is that she lost something when the Fade Breach happened.
