I seem to have missed something. If anyone is willing to send me a PM, I'd appreciate it. :)

On topic: I think Leliana's tarot card is lovely.

Some dickhead leaked photos of the Keep, earlier. They have all been taken down now.

Dickhead seems so tame. I can think of a few better words.

Well, they really pick people who honor the NDAs.

Also... why do I get reminded of Sam Traynor by the previous page...?

Nor is it surprising, saw this one coming, it was just a matter of time. Heavy risk tho not worth getting sued over.

It dosent seem to have caused that much of a fuss, yet. Its almost like it never happened, and it hasn't even reached tumblr, or if it has, it's been pulled quickly. I honestly don't think they will take legal action, it would cost them more than its worth. I do expect the leaker has been given a lifetime ban from Origin/EA services.

Edit:

Some dickhead put it on tumblr. It has 641 notes..Oh boy...its over now.once it reaches tumblr..its all over.

I know, but it was confirmed that she wears that armor in that specific scene because her official state would be a spoiler.

I hope so cause right now it seems a bit...stupid

Should she have been captured with her armor off?

Ever considered removing the armor on someone if you are going to torture information out of them? That armor sorta...you know protect her from taking damage. Speaking of Solid Snake, they this back in the 1990's. Snake got captured.  They remove his outfit. Same with Raiden in MGS2. Captured.

It is like the police capturing people in body armor and letting them keep it while they sit in a cell.

To be fair, the Tevinter torturers may not have needed to remove Leliana's armor. They have magic at their disposal and may not have had to resort to the more traditional means of torture. And even if they did use more mundane forms of torture, not all require actually causing physical damage to a person. For example...

Well, if you let the person wear armor, you need to specifically target the unarmored places (which may be scarce...) or, you know... apply excessive force, that risks that to make the person feel the pain through the armor, you need to put them in a near-unconscious state. Or even kill them...

Lemme tell ya, if you're trying to pry information out of somebody, you might want to put exact amounts of pain on exact locations.

And even then, torture is THE least effective way of interrogation. The tortured person will simply nod at everything you say, if only for the pain to stop. And it won't help againist the ultimate tough guys, who will spit in your face ANYWAY.

Though they weren't necessarily torturing her for information.  Could be magical reasons, like at the top of the tower of Magi in DA:O, where the intent is to force submission to becoming an abomination, or pain and suffering might be being used to power blood magic.  Or propaganda, punishment or plain sadism, like in real life.

Any person can be broken under torture, it's just a matter of time. It doesn't matter how much willpower or health you have.

I'll give you that one... Have patience, they will realize it's futile over time.

Any speculation on what the spoilery reasons are for the placeholder armor in the torture scene?

I wonder if she might end up Fenris'd.

Judging by red lyrium in trailer perhaps they tried turn her into red templar or something like that.

I just hope she isn't in the hands of a Bolton like character, they enjoyed it too much.

Still think she will get tortured mainly using magic tho, horror spells and such, might switch it up and use physical torture too to really push her to the brink. Either way it's gonna suck. I'm hoping to avoid this scenario in my run if I can.

Yeah, there were hints that you didn't have to send Leliana since they said she would resent you for sending her. Maybe it's one of those Adviser-missions gone wrong things they have mentioned that can start a real quest. So maybe sending Cullen with an army is the right choice?

That is my guess. I can't imagine that sending Josephine to negotiate with the crazy mage would work out well.

Or maybe they'll put one of her eyes out with a hot poker. You don't need to remove her armour to do that.  :(

I have my mind set on sending him anyway, ex-Templar dealing with craaaaaaazy mages, it should be a good fit so Cullen gear up son. :police:

I also don't want to send in Jo as I don't have confidence that a diplomatic approach will solve that problem there, force is needed at times. We'll see.
