Once the Breaches are closed, the elder one dead, the tevinters dead, what purpose does the Inquisition serve?

They still exist, but once the veil covers the world again, what point is there to a group that existed to fight a threat from the fade, once that threat is gone.

 

It's the Knight Templars 2.0.

 

You have a mercenary group that gets massive during a period of conflict, and afterwards, it becomes a liability, so its outlawed, the members killed, its assets seized and it fades into the sands of history and is forgotten.

 

Some kids dont know their history. Do  you have any idea how much the knight templars (and the knight Teutonic for that matter) where involved with trade money lending and agriculture? if the pope didnt drop the mighty banhammer on them fat chance they would have dismantled. and guess what this inquisition is neck deep in trade and other  profitable bussiness

Yes.

 

They established banking services, travel, and transportation across a decent bit of the Holy Land, and it made them very wealthy, but as we all know gold does not make you immortal.

And that protected the Templars how well? All that wealth did was make them an envy when the Crusade failed, and without the protection and legitimacy being offered by being "warriors" of God, they were outlawed, run to ground and killed.

 

The Teutonics are least exist still spiritually, the Templars cannot the same because they didn't make the same friends.

 

While the Teutonics embraced and became intertwined with the Chruch, (that really paid off under the hapsburgs) the Templars did not tithe, did not align with them and were obliterated.

 

Does this not sound like some incarnations of the Inquisition some would play? To me the similarities are striking.

 

Beyond that, i disagree with your insinuation that i do not know history.

lol.. I have a hard time imagining the Leliana that we've seen in Da2 and novels is the hardened, orgy version of Leliana. Seems like they went with unhardened Leliana for their canon (ahem.. whether they admit to canon or not).

Even unhardened Leliana was up to some naughty stuff during her time as a bard.She'll just need more convincing.

I thought her bard period was when she was hardened. Then she changed. All the Warden does is make her forget her change and encourages her to acknowledge the old Leliana.

Leliana was pretty happy go lucky even back then.

Group sex is too "social" for me. I barely can even talk to 5 people.

 

I dont think ive ever had any sort of meaningful conversation during sex, 3 words are all thats needed during that act, no need to be social at all
