I do wonder if our Inquisitor will be forced to submit right away or if we'll have a chance to have a mini-battle against Cassandra in which after one or the other loses a certain amount of health Leliana and/or Varric step in to calm and explain matters

That's been done to death though. I would prefer something like this:
You disarm her and one of two options come up: press the advantage and go for a killing strike (faked, since it's sparring), or allow her to pick up her weapon and continue the fight.
The right option would be 2. She would chide you for not pressing the advantage, but be secretly impressed by your chivalry and honor. Then she would start fangirling.
