i get so much **** for being a hetero normative (albeit asexual) male who loves tori and fiona apple. i listen them almost as much as i listen to Tool. Liz Phair(sp) had some good stuff too.
i was fresh out of college when ani did a concert on cape cod and i couldn't go because of work, no one to go with. i was working at a convenience store at the time, so many interesting people came in that night.

Simple economics, I imagine. Porn actresses are better-paid than men, but the disparity is smaller than with gay porn. Plus, the focus is generally on the girls even with straight porn, but that obviously isn't the case with gay porn; you want good-looking dudes for the part.

It's not that simple. Appealing more to women has seen huge economic boom in the sex industry when it comes to toys, and since more and more women are being open about watching porn, it would actually be in their best interest to appeal to them more. The popularity of James Deen also reflects this.
