I'm reliving the romance vicariously through DAO...have no idea how I'll really handle being around her in DAI but my committment is to let her be...while occasionally shadowing her in the rookery. Unless she hugs my Inquisitor and then...idk..still respect her but silently die a little inside? Lol

We know she'll be before Josephine, anyway. And unless Cassandra looked up Cullen before the events of Inquisition actually started, before him too. 

 

I'm getting the impression at the start of the game the 'Inquisition' consists of Cassandra, Leliana, Varric, the Inquisitor, and a couple of Seekers. Her being a temporary companion for a bit before falling into the adviser role would be cool but I doubt that'll happen. :S

I think Cullen will be already in the Inquisition, Since he'd be in Kirkwall otherwise, and we won't go there. Possibly Josie as well, Considering the fact the Inquisition already existed in some forms at the end of DA2.
She was though part of it before Cullen and Josie.

I think all us Leliana fans will die a little inside every time we hear her sweet voice with dat accent.
