It looks like it's in need of repair. How old is it?
I'm thinking it's probably another old Avvar fortress, much like Vigil's Keep.

Hmm.. Here's a thought. We've been told Leliana is more serious this time around, but that we can put effort into befriending her. Maybe she could lose the hood in a convo with the Inquisitor when she comes to recognize him/her as a good friend. It would certainly convey that she's more at ease so to speakNot a fan of the fact she always seems to be hooded. Hoping she takes it down once in a while. Other than that, I think she looks great.

I reaallly like this idea! ![]()
I don't think It's the hood,
The placement of her lips lower than in relation to her nose, her ultra thin lips, how extremely gaunt and protruding her cheekbones are.
When you obsess over facegen to the point that you throw away 8-10 runs of the same character in DAO because 10+ hours in you notice a flaw you just can't deal with you tend to notice these things.
Not only dao- but with mass effect, oblivion, skyrim, fallout 3 and new vegas. At least da2 had the black emporium editor available from day 1.
She looks horrendous. I think what people are latching onto is the more realistic skin and eyes but the actual arrangement of the features is off for her. For the others it's not so bad but different.
I think you are on your own on this one. I'm so, so sorry.
In DAO, I found Leliana relaxed and always searching the good side of people. I hope that even though she is older (well in the videos, it seems it is not so sure) she has still her behavior she had back then.

I didn't read the leak, but there is this disturbing thing on tumblr saying that
Spoilercan anyone confirm?

Spoiler
That better not happen...
*headcanon mode off*
Just occurred to me while writing something, do we have any clue or indication on what Leliana's surname is? Anything at all?

Leliana Bardo ![]()
I hope she sings again in DA:I.
In French this time though!
Agreed, elvish is pretty and all but I'd like to see Leliana do some Orlesian songs. Which I assume she knows a lot of.
...my Warden was Dalish, so I always headcanoned that one of the reasons Leliana picked out an elvish song to sing was because of her. :3

I think it works better that way at least.
Also fitting since it's the same song when the Warden leaves their home in the beginning.

Dat Jo tho greeting that Dalish elf in her own tongue, didn't see that one coming. Almost swayed me for a moment.

...huh, I've replayed my canon playthrough a dozen someodd times now, and somehow I never made that connection in my head. ![]()

Good first impression it seems. Wonder what she'll say for other races.
While an elf might like that, a Vashoth might get slightly offended if she uses the Qunari language...

Yeah, it's the song when you look back at Merrill.
Unrelated somewhat.. I just saw this cut content for Merrill... which makes it even more sad.

that song pops up like 4 times in origins, usually as background music.... i think its also part of the menu music....
to video:
wow, they really should have added some of those scenes.... It really added some life into keeper merathari as well as a lot more insight into merril

*snip*
Most of that isn't cut, actually. Her Mahariel references in DA2 have always made me think there was more to their relationship than meets the eye. She seems so snappy with him/her in DAO, but then Merrill seems to be by far the saddest to see her go at the end of the origin, and is still broken up about it 7 years later.
Never heard the line at 3:03, though. That one makes my line of thinking even more likely...huh. That last one for an ultimate sacrifice Warden... :C

Yeah some of it I recognize.. but there's more lines there than I recall.
Yeah, she seems really attached.
I remember all of those actual conversations bringing Mahariel up happening in my playthroughs, though I don't think I've heard any of those ambient dialogues near the end before. Those might be the cut ones.
