Gaider said the Warden has a presence in game beyond just a mention and a quest of some sort that revolves around them, but they'll remain off-screen.

 

I'd be surprised if Leliana doesn't have something extra in the aforementioned quest, if romanced.

I got the impressions that the quest referenced in the vid was a wartable mission and not one the inquisitor would be involved in personally, at least in the early stages.  Possibly, as a result of the wartable mission, an actual operation may occur, in which case, hurrah!

I can't romance people who get together. It just doesn't feel right since I feel like I'm breaking them up. But there is no evidence suggesting that other than both of them being bisexual and the fact that they know each other. The rest is just pure fan speculation. I think you can calm down

Well Leliana is my favorite romance in Origin but I wouldn't mind it. To each their own I guess, they aren't real people.

But... if you romance somebody (one would assume) they never get together with that other person in that timeline. I don't see why something possibly happening in a playthrough with a different Inquisitor that doesn't pursue her has to impact negatively on a playthrough where you do pursue her, thus any hypothetical romantic relationship they'd form with someone else never existed for you to break up.

 

That said, I highly doubt Leliana and Josephine are anything beyond friends.

The same happened with Garrus and Tali in Mass Effect trilogy. The fact that they can be a happy couple ruined my enjoyment of romancing either of them, and they were my favorite LIs in the trilogy. I just get a bad feeling when I try after learning about those couplings.
