Dude remember even when cooked nugs can best a dwarven warrior... if he is drunk at a weding.. its a strange skill but it gets used more regularly than you think.

Based on some comments on Twitter from Mike Laidlaw, Schmooples will not be returning. I fear Leliana's beloved nug is pining for the fjords.

It's been 10 or 11 years since Leliana first got him. He might have just died of old age.

So first my Warden quits her job hoping for hell yeah adventure, then her waifu goes off to serve the Divine, some dink kills her clan, and now her dog is probably dead.

May be the Divine disapproved of Schmooples as inappropriate for a Chantry sister.    After all the Grey Wardens made Anders get rid of Ser Pouncerlot because they thought it "made him soft".   Personally I think the whole mage/Templar thing could have been avoided if they'd let him keep that cat.    People in authority just do not seem to respect the gifts given to people by the Hero of Ferelden.

Well Loghain had his mabari for ten years before it was taken and abused by the Orlesians so barkspawn may still live from an age perspective.

It looks like all the females have wide hips so they may be sharing a model. Leli's light chainmail apron gets in the way so you can't really see her hips but I've noticed at some angles in the recent streams you can kinda notice it.

David Gaider mentioned awhile back that mabari's live as long as the plot the demands it. Assuming the same applies for nugs then obviously both Barkspawn and Schmooples are still kicking around for Inquisition. I think we can all agree on that nugs are crucial for the Inquisitions success.
