I'm not down with the ship in general, but I'm pretty sure most people who are suggesting it are thinking in a world state where Leliana wasn't romanced.
If they do that, then it's only fair that my Warden romanced Ariane in the meantime.

Hmm...if I was to think of any alternate ship for my Warden, that'd probably be it. Dat Dalish/Dalish. Runner up would probably be Nathaniel.

I don't really ship em myself, still see them as old friends. However if Lels wasn't romanced by a warden the ship doesn't bug me at all. And it prob never happened, but it's still a good looking ship.

Might be less resistant to the idea if Leliana wasn't Warden's waifu in, like, 90% of my saves. Which are pretty much all the same character...in the 10% that didn't, wouldn't mind. That's her business.
Yep. I could care less who characters romanced if I didn't romance them, but if they're a player-romanced character, it just feels wrong to make them go with someone else or cheat on you. Like, it's your character, in every game, and yeah, it's been 10+ years in the canon, but it's not been that long for us since we romanced certain characters. A Joseliana romance is fine by me, but only if it's not the case in a Warden-romanced world state. With Leliana talking about how dear the Warden is to her heart in DA:2, something tells me she's not gonna abandon her romance that quickly.

Not to mention, it's not like the Warden and Leliana haven't seen each other for 10 years. Warden was still kicking in Act 3 of DA2.
Plus the "Warden is alive and well" line in the Keep makes me think the Warden's gonna get a bigger appearance or have a bigger role in Inquisition than Bioware's led us to believe. And yeah, the Warden hasn't been seen for a decade by the general public, but it's never said that the ex-spy-now-spy-again Chantry Rogue and the Hero of Ferelden haven't had some kind of contact, since the romanced epilogue (depending on user input) states Lels and the Warden were seen travelling together long after Origins ended.

I'll be content if any of the Inquisitor's lovers want to have an orgy, but it's not the same as Leliana cheating on the Warden.
I believe one Awakening epilogue also mentions that the Warden is seen with Leliana in Denerim's market.
Alistair's cameo is I think - if I remember correctly around seven to five years after Origins - so yeah, the Warden is definitely still around during that time. Though I do not know when Leliana became a Seeker. In my head she became one after the Warden disappeared, which in my canon happens around two to three years before DAII ends.
Though I could be wrong.

IIRC, that's actually Inquisition armor and we were all hugely faked out.
Yep, the people with Cassandra and Leliana were the fledgling Inquisition according to Bioware, so they were wearing Inquisition armor.

I have to say that I am really holding out hope that Leliana at least mentions the warden, if she/he doesn't appear. There is absolutely no way that she would have left my warden and vice versa, other than brief missions like Awakening or going to Kirkwall. I already have all sorts of head canon for the intervening years, and if there isn't some sort of confirmation that they are still together (and not missing!), I won't be able to get as into the story of DAI since I'll be coming up with my own personal canon at the same time as playing and that can get a little distracting, especially if I'm doing my best to avoid seeing Leliana heartbroken. It won't make me cancel my pre-order or stop me from multiple runs of DAI and enjoying every minute of it, but I still can't help but keep hoping...

I'm pretty sure anyone who reappears that the Warden romanced will make mention of them and likely in good detail, considering many love options are still together with the Warden after Origins, up until post-Awakening (with the exception of Leliana, who was seen travelling with the Warden after Awakening; Morrigan if the Warden went with her at the end of Witch Hunt; and Alistair, if they're King and Queen, I think.)
When I saw the word 'Ship' mentioned I thought Isabela had sailed in...then I remembered this is the Leliana thread.... 
Well the latest pax stream had Mike Laidlaw say regarding the keep choices "If Leliana was in love with the Warden you'll actually get a reference to that when you talk to her" so you get some confirmation that she'll mention the romance. Unfortunately I don't like the was terminology but it could just be from speaking so fast answering questions. Or I could be misinterpreting
