Well the latest pax stream had Mike Laidlaw say regarding the keep choices "If Leliana was in love with the Warden you'll actually get a reference to that when you talk to her" so you get some confirmation that she'll mention the romance. Unfortunately I don't like the was terminology but it could just be from speaking so fast answering questions. Or I could be misinterpreting
I think when he said "was in love" he meant "Was the Warden's love interest".
Well one thing is certain, i dont want to hear a very quick answer regarding lelianas love for my warden, similair to DA2. I'm thinking we'll get a good chunk of the Leliana romance callbacks in whatever the quest is that supposedly revolves around the Warden, and the one they have an offscreen presence of sorts in. It'd make sense, as I don't really expect a person to go on about their love life out of the blue without some reason to bring it up.

Sadly my warden has been dead now since the end of DAO.
Wonder if Leliana will slap the Inquisitor if they ask her about a US Warden.

I think one of the more interesting options in the Keep is handling Leliana's status; you have the option of selecting whether she's alive and well, never recruited, was killed by the warden over the ashes, or just up and left at the sacred ashes decision.
So if nothing else they apparently are going to tackle her getting killed off. So the question is, was she actually killed and then resurrected, or was she presumed dead, and actually survived?
I've never actually killed Leliana off, myself. I think I'm going to have to make a world state where that happened, just to find out.

Well since the keep choice for that says "Unwilling to let the Warden profane the Urn of Sacred Ashes, Leliana was left to die in the heart of the temple" I would imagine that the latter would be what happens.
I do not understand why Leliana would be dead...or killed...in anyones game . What did she do to deserve that?

For trying to needlessly defile an urn of ashes that could cure any disease known to man? Yeah, she totally deserved to die due to that.
Needlessly ,it allowed to avoid fight with cultists and dragon (not mention power up) she attacked me it was her choice to die pretty much it was pure self-defence.

While it's unclear if people know about her potential romantic involvement with the Warden, it's worth noting that in DA2, once she introduces herself to Hawke, one of the dialogue options is to inquire whether or not she's "The Leliana", suggesting that she's somewhat of a well-known figure?
It's also probably why she's been forced to use the name "Sister Nightingale" as her codename, since her real name is too recognisable at this point?

However from what she says her name is only really recognized when near or in the Ferelden border.
Leliana and my Warden were just friends that's all! Leliana should be a romance option. The Inquisitor can romance his other two advisors.
