There seemed to be something similar happening to Dorothea in the prologue stream we saw yesterday, as she looked more haggard and older than the former Divine Beatrix III, despite Dorothea having been a repeatedly described as young and in the prime of life in the novels, which we also saw in Leliana's Song.

 

Possibly, something the Elder One and Ventatori are doing is draining the life from people?

I find the intensity of the reactions here to be rather strange.

We already knew that she was going to be tortured and that Alexius wasn't nice. What does seeing her Ugly Stickification really matter? I romanced her, but I don't really care, because I wasn't going to send her on this mission beforehand and I'm still not going to now. Hell, this isn't much compared to what happened to Leandra.

 

I'm still sending Josephine if possible. But am prepared to reload if necessary.

 

 

Oooh, boy. I never really had a heavy opinion on Cullen before, but now I'm going to trust him to run in there and burn the place to the ground like he wanted to do to the tower ten years ago. Don't let me down, Cullen! I expect him to come back fine and for Leliana to be totally safe from any peril!
