Of course there will definitely be a few things to criticize in DA: I its not as if the game will be perfect but from your posts in the last few days it seems like you are disappointed in almost everything so far and that you won't be able to enjoy the game like everything you feared for is happening

Well, there has been nothing but bad news for me the past few days about this game, including everything I feared.

So what should I do: put on a fake smile and pretend everything is okay?

So if I side with the templars my baby won't have to go through that transformation & a chance for me to kill Fiona (not sure if that is true). Thank the Maker!!

Except it is a video game. Unrealistic things happen in them. Shepard would never have gotten all those sides to work together against the Reapers in six months, and yet we did.

Such may be the case, but you opened that with "in the real world."

Finishing fights by eliminating a side is not "saving the world from itself".

Would the world have a better chance of existing with the fight continuing, or ended? Is the world still going to be here now that you've stopped the fight?

Tbf, we don't know if we're eliminating the other side or just forcing them to surrender

Fair enough. But if even people in the real world would agree to at least a truce while dealing with an apocalyptic event, then so should the less realistic people of a fictional world. Thedas especially since they face a Blight every few centuries so it isn't even really out of the norm for them.

The world would have a better chance of existed if people worked together. And the Inquisition was advertised as the group that would be able to do that.

Not when they're blaming each other for it, which is extremely likely. And seems to happen in this game too.

We will. Just not literally everyone, because some grudges are far too deep.

No but maybe try to look past your own personal (very specific) expectations that you had and build over the years

and play DA:I for what it is? And maybe even find joy in it?

For all the time you waited for the game and were hyped seems like a waste if you end up disappointed

If you can't put on a smile for this game, then I have no advice. I'll just laugh. Actually.

I don't mean laugh at you. It's just so absurd that I have to laugh. :D

Why not wait until you actually get to experience the game for yourself before coming to conclusions?

Is there an option to chose to wipe out both sides in the Mage Templar conflict?

If not I need to create a new character idea ....

I'm pretty sure that's an option too.

The sad part is the expectations were not very specific but actually rather broad.

As for playing it for what it is, I am doing that. I am just going in rather depressed going in.

I'm used to people laughing at me.

No need since we can watch the videos about what happens which lets us draw conclusions since that is how the game goes.

Way to go Kallen Kouzuki/Stadtfeld, you just pulled a lighthearted thread down with your pre-established assumptions.

And no, you can't actually get the gameplay experience by watching walkthroughs of rpgs with branching storylines, since it is another person playing, your choices concerning dialogue and actions are not made.

Of course reading "spoilers" will spoil the story for you. So go sulk in a corner when the inevitable disappointment, which you brought upon yourself, hits you.

I'm having so many fangasms right now you guys. I wasn't even expecting she would mention Bethany of all things but she did! JUST WOW.  HEADCANON CONFIRMED.

Her voice when she talked about my warden

Her reaction to when my inquisitor asked if she was the Divine's lover

Oh I just want to jump into my computer and kiss her.

Just saw her role in the Redcliffe mission. That mission had so, so much potention to trigger an romance with her. Single Leliana really should have been an option.

Yeah, the way a romanced Leliana talks about the Warden in Inquisition is incredibly sweet. <3

Sigh, this again. It would have been a waste of rescources, just go and romance her in Origins. Or just change the romance tile in the keep. Geez it's not that hard is it?

I also have noticed that those who want Leliana back,(in most cases) tend to be the males who complain and whinge about how 'ugly' cass and josie are. It really does remind me of a toddler who is spoilt. The toddler usually gets red jelly; and when he is served green jelly he throws it back, cries, and throws himself to the floor.
