God Bioware, why would they choose Cassandra and Leliana as candidates for Divine when Mother Giselle IS STANDING RIGHT THERE!

And the fact they are my Warden and Inquisitor's loves...why them out of all people...I don't want to sacrifice either of them, but I guess it has to be that way. :/

 

Also is it true, choosing Celene = Leliana as Divine? I plan on siding with Briala/Gaspard, so if that's the case I'll be happy...I love Warden/Leliana more, mainly because both of them have been through so much and I don't think Leliana would be happy being in the Chantry again. The only good thing it has brought her was her meeting her love, the Warden.

 

I guess Cass/Inquisitor romance was always meant to end tragically, my Inquisitor will be going after Josie once Cass becomes Divine, if possible.

Vivienne as Divine would be win-win situation for me, but the majority have only got Cass/Leli.

On a happier note to break up all this divine nonsense (and for anyone wanting to know things Leliana says about a romanced warden):

I just spoke to Leliana and got the war table mission to contact my Warden. You can ask her a bunch of questions and I DIED. The reason the warden is gone is because she's looking for a cure for the calling/the taint so that she won't die and they can be together longer. Leliana would have gone with her if Justinia hadn't needed her here. She talks about how much they love each other and how happy they were/are and how they're never really apart, even now. My heart exploded send help.

So...

 

I imported my bastard Aeducan who tainted the Ashes.. suddenly I've taken a liking to Leliana again. I love how she mocks the "hero". Lovely. My inquisitor has a better bond with this Leli. Sad to say.

 

I don't like this Divine business either. I hope I can support Vivienne. I never wanted to change the world. I liked the Chantry as it was. And with her, you get some justice for mages. More than people give her credit for. Vivienne sets an example for them to aspire to.

 

I don't think the Cass/Inq romance is doomed though (to whoever said that above). If anything, there are more penalties happening to the Hero of Ferelden and companions.

Morrigan drinking from the Well and becoming Flemeth's slave? If it's that then yes, I agree. Poor Morri.

 

The Warden's companions, specifically Warden!Alistair, Leliana and Morrigan sure have some 'weird' stuff happening to them. At first I thought Alistair and Leliana romancers were the one's who gonna get well, screwed in a way

with Alistair dying instead of Hawke, Leliana becoming Divine,

but after seeing the choice regarding Morrigan's fate, well yes, she sure gets the ultimate sparta kick, I mean

who wants to be someone's slave?! Morrigan wanted to escape Flemeth's shadow her whole life, not be bound to her like that.

Zevran not being in the game is the best thing that could've happened to him. XD

I've been attempting to avoid spoilers, so I haven't been reading the character threads.

But... Leliana said she's going to join my Warden when this is over. We will be together forever and have little blue babies.

Leliana's story took a really jarring turn on her personal quest. She pretty much straight up murders an old friend who is now on the other side, and then starts ordering someone kidnapped, and I'm not really allowed to do anything about either one. Is this a normal part of the story, or did I screw up badly somewhere? This was just after finishing the Celene Court Intrigue.

From my experiences, if you tell Leliana to kill her old friend, she will become "hardened"...again...Even if you tell her to tell go after she read Justinia's message, she will still become "hardened". She will then order the kidnapping of that guy.  You basically will get a Leliana that think that mercy/emotion is a weakness, the Leliana I hate...

 

I had to reload a save after that because that isn't the Leliana I fell in love with in DAO.  So, I tell her to let her old friend go, and Leliana will become "unhardened", one who know that mercy/emotion isn't a weakness; she will also be way way way happier than the "hardened" Leliana. Her old friend will also convince the one who sent her to support the Inquisition. Best of both world right there.

 

I love the sweet DAO Leliana, so telling Leliana to let her friend go was and will always be the only choice I will choose.

 

For me, I love the hardened Leliana in DAO, less Maker nonsense, and unhardened Leliana in DA:I, sweet sweet Leliana.

How/When does Leliana's quest trigger? I fully completed Josephine, and for Cullen I have a side quest, but with Leliana I have got nothing.

I hope she doesn't break up the romance with the Warden. From what I saw in the Epilogue with Leliana as Divine, she is changing the whole Chantry and causing many controversies. So, I hope that she doesn't care about the controversy of having a secret...or not so secret Warden lover.

If not...well...DAO romances got screwed in DAI. Warden Alistair can be left to die. Morrigan can be possessed. Divine Leliana breaks up with Warden. Zevran isn't even in the game, only mentioned.

In the guide book it says she gets two quests, so it seems so.

I think there was a scene in a twitch stream where Quizzy and Leliana talk about a vision they saw together. So I guess she joins our party for a short time.

Also, might add, I love how Leliana seems to be the only one of your advisors who actually cares where and what the Grey Wardens are up to, *cough* her Warden is up to.

Adamant was really nice and sweet about the Warden. Then the last paragraph in letter from the Contact the Warden War Table mission that you get "I beg you, if she is faltering, help her find her way back into the light." Kinda made me sad about how broody she acts.

If you let her kill the agent in Haven and when you first reach Skyhold when she talks about her agents pulling back if you says soldiers die.
