Still prefer giving her the one thing she wants, traveling with the Warden, so no.

I'm fine with unhardened Leliana as Divine, but I still feel like getting rid of the Circle isn't the way to go. The Circle need fixes, but it's not entirely broken, no need to destroy it.

The Circle is destroyed. It ended in Asunder. I see no reason to rebuild it when we can make something better.

Yay!!! but still prefer Leliana to travel with the Warden, getting her away from the Chantry for her sake. Only seem to bring her pain so far.

Amen to all that. Leliana needs a break, the Chantry has already taken a lot out of her. A hug, too. She needs a hug.

Just read one of the post on Reddit, someone brought up something interesting.  If the Warden is the King who is married to Anora with Leliana as his mistress, how is that going to go down with Leliana as Divine?

I don't know; wouldn't it be nice to have Leliana finally be in charge of something without being dominated by a stronger personality?

Listening to her talk about getting back with the Warden and staying with him/her after the Inquisition warms my heart everytime.

That...would probably be a bit more...complicated. If the Warden is King/Queen and Leliana is his/her mistress, they'd probably both have to constantly be away from each other, one in Denerim, one in Val Royeaux. Though I suppose that wouldn't be a particularly new thing in their relationship, in that case.

There'd definitely be more difficulty than with a Warden who's not really tied down anywhere. Hell in that case I can see Leliana making them a hand of the Divine to fill in her or Cassandra's role.

Meh. She pretty much said packing up and leaving when she's no longer needed is what she planned and wanted to do before, and honestly, I think that's best for her. She might be in charge then, but that doesn't mean it's not going to wear down on her like it did before. Hell, it might more than ever.

Leliana's work is not yet done; her song is still not fully sung.

Also, Cassandra's too staid and intellectually blunt, and Vivienne's too unscrupulous and selfish.

Well technically a male Cousland is still the prince-consort. They never become king. Considering those cases were merely a political marriage I'd say Leliana wins the game of tug of war.

I rather give Leliana what she wants. Beside, can you imagine if Leliana is the Divine, and the Warden is KIA? She will blame herself for not being there.  She would also lose everyone she loves.  Rather have Cass as a Divine than the possible sad and broken Leliana as Divine also. That's just a possibility, so doesn't really count, but still worth a thought.

Me too. There's the whole how long the Wardens Calling research will take problem. I'd rather have her at their side rather than her having to wear some goofy hat far away waiting on them/having rare visits. As much as people seem to like her changes if she's Divine I don't think it's sustainable for the future. I doubt her successor would have anything matching her spy network /assassins/bardic training to control the people who resist though killings or peace talks (depending on her personality). Cassandra has actions that can lead going into the future. Dragon Age is a dark fantasy and I just feel there's no way that Leliana's ideals will continue beyond her unless she gets a truly remarkable successor or the World drastically changes(You could argue the Inquistion kinda does/enforces that though).

If it doesn't cause backlash, which it might.  You could end up losing ground.

Now that I know that Leliana becoming Divine Victoria won't end the romance with the Warden, she is going to be my Divine choice now.

That is, indeed, what I rather think the Inquisition is for. Especially if I wind up disbanding the Seekers. And Cassandra only has more toothless reform to offer; a copy of Justinia's too-little too-late stance.

In any case, they won't go out of their way to screw over any given romance option, I think.

With that news, it seems romanced Warden Alistair who got left in the Fade got the short end of the stick...

This is confirmed?

I'll still go with Leliana regardless but it's good to know either way.

Something about Leliana being divine just feels wrong.

It's nice when some of the writers can shed some light. Cass romancers get "you'll just have to wait and see" from Gaider regarding a romanced Cass who could become divine.

From what I've heard, it isn't in his nature. We get to play the waiting game on that front. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the closure from DAO, which was 5 years later.
