...and then the 'dirty little secret' became the 'well known secret' as a couple of stray, unnoticed Chantry-goers looked on from their corners in...uh, reverence. A new verse was added to the Chant of Light. And some people started visiting the Chantry more often. 

 

Understandably nobody noticed the Divine was with an Elven-god worshipping heathen.

So I guess it's pretty canon that

Leliana is Kieran's cool aunt like figure with whom he loves talking about fashion, specifically about how to dress his mother for the Halamshiral ball. :}

And the best part is that Morrigan gets pissed and constantly disapproves, trying to keep Kieran away from Leliana, but seems to fail miserably.

 

Headcanon that Kieran has a secret love for fashion and he and Leliana bond over it, much to Morrigan's disdain.

On a sidenote, the internet finally let me buy some more BioWare points so I got Leliana's Song and am just installing it 

 

Have fun playing it I found it to be a pretty fun DLC, and obviously it gives you more insight into Leliana's development prior to Origins. 

 

Yeah, it's a great DLC, it's quite fun to see the Leliana from being we knew her.

 

And have fun trying to figure out who the dwarven companion is voiced by, if you don't already know... you'll probably be pleasantly surprised?

So... just finished Leliana's Song.

 

I want Marjolaine dead so badly. Oh wait... 

I loved it. It's an interesting little DLC, with some great insight into Leliana's past as well a mechanical.. sneak peek at Dragon Age's future? I mean, I got a fully voiced protagonist here. And Leliana, no less. Maybe there is a Maker after all.

 

Odd how this thing seems full of references to Dragon Age: Inquisition for me, when it's actually the reverse. Nightingale's Eyes, the "underwear pinned to a Chanter's board"... 

Poor Leliana, though. I wanted to give her a hug numerous times throughout the story. Ehh, maybe I just want to give Leliana a hug regardless. Anyway. Loved this DLC.

Never liked Marjolaine's VA much. She sounds so overblown French in a hammily evil sort of way that's kinda cringe-worthy. 

 

Not sure why they used the same VA for Dorothea as well, when they should probably go for the complete opposite with her.

I'm gonna start a Worst Choices/Everyone Dies-playthrough of Origins this week.

Probably not such a good idea... I'm not sure if I'll be able to kill off all those characters. Especially Leliana, and Alistair (though thank the Maker his death happens off-screen).

I've done about 9-10 playthroughs, and never once killed Leliana. Or drove her out. Or...anything negative.

 

Like, 8/10 of those playthroughs were the exact same female Dalish romancing Leliana, because I couldn't grow attached to any other Wardens, though, so I've probably gone soft at this point.

But I get where you are coming from. Even though I loved every second of the Josephine romance the game still had me fall in love with Leliana all over again...

She still loves the Warden, as was made abundantly clear in DAI. I don't imagine you'd even get the option in a world-state where that happened. Leliana wouldn't do that.

I'd still keep Warden/Leliana as my canon if the hypothetical option did exist. Because the feels her references to the Warden in DA:I bring>>>>>>>Another romance, tbh.

Geez... what's with Leliana and her obsession with other people's undergarments? As much as I like pulling pranks or hate my enemies to the guts, going through other people's undergarments is a big no-no for me. That's... just... EEEWWWW.  Call me prissy but I prefer going through other people's clothings instead (shirts, dresses, pants, that sorta thing...). That's it... Leliana needs a new hobby!

Just letting anyone know, whoever here dabbles in XNALARA stuff, her model got ported to it. Just click the image to go to it.

I wonder if they tweaked the colors on that model, or that's the default. Seems different in game. In that pic, she seems closer to DAO's palette.

 

 

Her armor looks comfortable though. That's the first thought I have.

Character textures change significantly once rendered in engine. Due to lighting models, as well as the composition of different textures under one shader. (albedo, specular, normal, pbr, + any other instructions).
